We did favorite celebrity book reports in high school English...i did mine on Caroline Rhea...i knew the Gilchrist from freshman year high school 😂 we also did the same in art class that year...i have a very pink and purple Caroline rhea painting with a pink daisy somewhere from the same year 😂
The episode description does not lie-it’s like a stand-up special because the laughs never stop. This highly anticipated family reunion with Aunt Hilda did not disappoint as she and niece Sabrina still have the same rapport as back in the day. My sisters and I all loved “Sabrina” so much during the seven years the characters joined us in our living room every week so it was great to feel like a part of the reunion today. It also brought back fond memories of Caroline’s game show days since she had quite a presence on the circuit. Although I enjoyed all of the reminiscing, my favourite remark by Caroline was how it wasn’t until season four that she realized why the family’s surname was Spellman. Her anecdote about auditioning for “Meatballs III” and seeing the casting director’s notes about her being funny rather than making comments about her physical assets as he did about the other actresses was humorous, but also a reflection of the level of sexism that was once acceptable in Hollywood. I especially enjoyed hearing about Amanda’s parenting style and kids’ reactions to it, as well as Melissa’s relatable story about her eldest and middle child’s response to discipline and their mom’s feelings. All in all, the mix of the Southerner, the Yankee, and the Canadian’s (did you notice how many times Caroline mentioned the world “Canadian” in this episode?) personalities created a friendship dynamic that anyone would be envious of.
As soon as Melissa said, "I WOULD kick him out of bed for eating crackers," I thought, "OH IT HAS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HEARD THAT ONE!" and here Amanda's like, "Huh?" LOL She must be quite a bit younger than I thought she was.

I seen the episode with caroline rhea in the new sabrina. and I fanboy'd so much. It was magical(sorry no other pun was worth it here) just to see the 2 aunte's back at it again. May not get a reboot or "what happened next" follow on. so this was the best I could get. Love this show, the hour wasn't long enough for me, so many good stories. I guess it would have to be an actual cast reunion on the show would be the ultimate one for me..
“May not get a reboot or ‘what happened next’ follow on.” I guess that’s what fanfiction is for. Actually, there is a post-series fanfic I would recommend, and it’s called “Las Vegas or Bust” by stretch snodgrass. The author does the characterizations very well, and reading the fanfic honestly felt like watching a two-parter epilogue episode of Sabrina. Go check it out. I highly recommend it.

Forgetting why you entered a room - yeah, basically your brain recognises that you have entered a new environment and re-orders executive function from what you were just generally thinking of or whatever task it was and changes it to assessing the new environment for dangers, or priorities, plus engages memories relating to recent previous experiences in this environment and can easily sort of knock what you were doing or thinking as you entered out of your shock term memory.

The episode is the one where Salem sells Sabrina's life as like a reality TV show in the other realm and she tries to be super-boring to make it get cancelled but the producer guy makes natural disasters happen at the school involving earthquakes, toxic waste, godzilla etc?

I am sorry to hear that you got physically abused, Melissa, as a kid. I hope you do not continue the cycle of violence by hitting your family members. I liked seeing you on Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and I also enjoyed Caroline being funny as Hilda. I am glad that your version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch was not Satanic because I had to deal with enough of that at home with my own family who did violent things to me and each other and were Satanic/in a cult/doing things from books and movies they saw that were Satanic. I do not believe in astrology so I think you are misled. I am agnostic. It was cool to see the two of you reunited and I think it's nice you still refer to each other as auntie and niece. I think one day I might pick out some woman to be my sister and try to raise a daughter with her like Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda did, because I am an asexual celibate so I think that kind of family structure with me being an aunt could work out for me.
i have zero unread emails. i dont know how yall do it. as soon as i get a message (red dot on my yahoo browser as i dont use my phone like you kids, its to talk to people not anything else lol) i go and check and depending on what it is i just delete. usually its instant delete. only emails i read are for tracking of packages. and i usually dont have more than 5 new messages at a time, no way it can go higher than 10 let alone get to the thousands.

I have stumbled upon this show and you probably realize this now, but just wanted to mention.. what you described about your son saying; why don't you go back to LA. It's hard to hear and is frustrating. I feel for you and can relate, but they say this purely out of love. He means the opposite. He misses you and may not know how to properly express this to you because he is hurt too.

Idk Caroline gives me toxic vibes at sometimes, specifically when she talks about the 'fans' talking to her. She often talks like she's annoyed with them. I prefer Hilda over Caroline.
