I always look forward to your guys’ videos. Wish I caught you out on 8-2 and witnessed this Barbie action lol.
Any tips for coho without down riggers? Still using the 6 oz sinker, flasher, and purchased some coho spoons! Saw your triple coho video that you had one setup on w/o a dr, so will give it a shot. :-)
Ps thanks for helping me limit pinks!!! First time fishing in saltwater this year and I’m the happiest gal every time I can go out.

Yes use more weight. Six ounces is about right to keep you away from tangling on the downrigger lines but if you’re not using downriggers at all you could try 8-16 ounces setups. Mini flashers have less drag so will run deeper. Also I like to use line counter reels and put all lead rods out 120 feet behind the boat to get nice and deep

One more thing. Using heavier weights will mess up your line pretty easy if you send it out too fast. Speed up the boat and control the descent with your thumb. Also experiment with the biggest deep 6 trolling diver on the market
      Good luck 👍

@@FishinOriginal Thank you for the response and helpful tips! I'll switch over to our 8" flashers and find some heavier weights. I did purchase an Okuma rod w/ line counter, and did what you suggested in your other videos and it's been going great. I will continue to experiment. THANK YOU!!! Hope your coho season will be awesome and look forward to those videos!

Do you use gel scent or tip your lures with herring fillets when fishing for pinks or Coho in Puget Sound?

Not usually because of dogfish, but I like to dip my lure in a container full of herring or tuna in oil when I do use scent

    Using all 3 riggers too??
Your "what are these rods dude!?" in the boat is a little less convincing after we saw you buy them at Walmart 😂... But "Oscar winning" performance there on that acting, cuz.
