@@damianlynch5977 The RNZAF A-4Ks had the camel hump removed in the late 1980s when the avionics were upgraded. It was called Project Kahu. You can read all the technical details on Wikipedia.
It's always crazy to me that private Red Air groups are able to squeeze probably multiple decades' worth of service life out of older aircraft like the Skyhawk, Alpha Jet, Kfir, Hunter, Tiger II/Freedom Fighter, and of course now the F-16. The upgrades these groups do are insane, as well (Top Aces has a few ex-Israeli A-4N "Ayits" which they've modded with an IRST and AESA radar)
And probably got them next to free. There's a good chance that some CEO of one of these "Private" operators is a retired General. It'd be interesting to see just what the actual cost for a used fighter jet is when you have connections? I have not facts about this, just my 2 cents and my frustration at the current state of affairs this administration has dumped onto a once proud Nation.
A-4 is legendary jet. The best version was flown by the Singapore Air Force. They were known as the A-4 SU Super Skyhawk which had newer avionics and upgraded F-404 engine installed.
My neighbor flew US Navy A-4’s in Vietnam. His stories thrilled me as a kid. Great guy.
Debes leer. A6 intruder

A-4 still rocking. Scooters Forever !!!
I grew up next to a Naval Air Station (SOWEY) that had A-4s based there for 30 years. Miss seeing them screaming across the sky.
So great spotting area
Wow that "scooter" really looks cool. Thanks for this post 👍
Gotta love the -38…I still miss flying that airplane…
The A-4K is ex RNZAF, you can see a small Kiwi roundel on the speed brake.
The A-4K had the camels hump on top of the aircraft, this more likely a former Royal Australian Navy A-4G which were sold to New Zealand.

Kinston,North Carolina typically supporting the F-15Es from Seymour Johnson.
Yeah, it's beyond weird that you overdubbed audio from a C-5 taking off over the first clip of the C-17.
Every sound made from this video is original, so what you hear is the C-17 sound. Thanks for watching!
That T-38 has a lamp burned out in the lower rotating beacon.
I thought Kelly Air Force Base was closed.
Its not been an Air Force base since 1995 but still is use for military use for all branches it a joint base.
Eather that A-4 is new or modernize
Geeeez, what is the endurance of a T-38 on internal fuel only? Holy cow. They claim it has a range of over 1,000 miles. How can that be?
Only about 2 hrs flying time, pretty normal range without aux tanks.
