I just got mine last week. The tires are actually pretty good. I put in a Hobbywing 10BL120 and 3660 3150KV on 3s. It rips.

@MrMeDos It's a beast. Also, the Aluminum Traxxas wheelie bar wheels that are 20 bucks are a perfect fit. I used to make RC videos, too. I made and 3d printed a rear skid and side chassis skids, will be on Cults3D. I found your channel a few weeks ago and have been watching all your videos. The way you're going you will be making some $ and getting offers for stuff in no time. Keep it up. Your videos are fantastic!
Same motor mount ? On the cf or this version ? The 10bl120 would be perfect . Did the remote stay programmed ?
I love this truck, it’s so smooth.. I’m running hobbywing 120a and 3650 4000kv… it’s a beast. It can even go on 4s… this thing is stupidly good. Some things can be better of course but for the price… banger!

That looks like one well built truck, especially at that price.
you bet bro.. out the box for $179 as a roller. you could easily put a spektrum 36 series can combo in it and it will give the granite or any of the blx 3s from arrma a run for their money.. it feels well built.. but we will see soon enough..

thanks man.. I'm leaning toward castle mamba x esc and the 3200kv motor, and running 4s or 3s with the 3800kv motor and gear it for speed vs crawling,, or 6400kv and run it on 2s. but we will see. only thing confirmed is the esc for now.. lmao..

Your lucky you got it directly from Amazon I pre ordered a Carbon version & it took forever & Rlaarlo has terrible customer service but I’ve had mine for awhile & so far so good I’m leaving in the stock electronics till something blows up but I have have a few options like a Max 10 to put in it. The only thing I’ve noticed so far the body is harder to mount after jumping it. It’s super fun & the perfect size sometimes I don’t want to load up the Fireteam or Mojave 6s.
Thanks for the info bro. Hopefully the parts I ordered don’t take forever. Been looking for a servo daily and no luck. So i have to wait on my order. I will be going with castle 3200kv on 4s.

It probably is around 1/10 size of the truck it’s supposed to be . I can’t decide whether it’s a the small cord or gmc canyon or Chevy small truck . It is tight though . It’s taking shots . It has to go sometime . I messed up the OG pinion on accident . It’s 48p 24T on the cf and the gear is 48p 65T . All the parts are on Amazon , rlaarlo . Some parts took a day , some a week . Best way to go imho . Rlaarlo has been responsive to me despite the flack . What I like about it is that when I walk out of the house with this and go in the backyard it’s not loud or scary like the K6S. I like ots solid feel and it gets down in the grass . Turns and can spin around without flipping but it’s adjusted for me . Good luck and please keep us informed about this RC . Seems like the OT vids gets lots of views since we fe all figuring it out . On the cf version the remote is complicated still to me and came locked . Set perfect though . I’ve just figured out how to unlock . There’s a turbo button the side of the cf version nobody had figured out yet . Like 30% more boost . Not to top speed . It’s fast enough imho , 40 s mph . We all need to see this pup come apart . Taking out the center diff was a little more involved but not too bad .
I will be running my dx5c and spektrum receiver. I honestly may buy the cf rtr version to bash and jump and the roller for my open field bashing. It will Sit lower with knobby belted tires prolly proline badlands or a powerhobby 2.8 belted set. I will be posting an update vid soon of what I have completed so far.

What’s up ? The whole car is good to go . I got the carbon fiber version . I wouldn’t change a thing , even the stock 24t pinion is good with a better 3s . The OG 3s ain’t bad , it’s really an 18c . They’re all inflated labels on the batteries which is ok . They’re all testable . I seen DO RC test his battery and it read 18c . Man , this thing loves a small ramp and enough air to correct . I haven’t had it more than 4-5ft off the ground but it lands very good . So yeah the roller . Can’t wait to see . So far , the handling is superb , landings are soft , air control , good tires . I had to run the shocks under hot water for a minute and use a crescent wrench to get the shocks loose . Oil was good tbh 👏, looked like 40-60:wt . Changed the spur and pinion on the center diff . They came greased good . I was impressed co pared to other Chinese rides I’ve tried . This mug gets it , for sure 100% . It’s like a1/12 size
Thanks for watching bro. I was impressed with the 1:14 scale buggy which made me give this a try. Rlaaro got a winner with this truck. I just painted the body,installed my esc & motor with stock spur & 30T 48p pinion. Went with mamba x 1412/3200kv combo. Once my parts come in, i will switch out the gearing 33/24 mod1 gears, diff cups, axles, and check the diff fluids. Im looking forward to running this guy.
The Omni Terminator is really a 1/12 scale.
lmao, these scales are so picky man.. whatever a mini 1/10 scale is lmao.. idk.. possibly 1/11 scale.. depending on the brand you compare it to, it very well could be a 1/12 scale for sure.. very thin line between them..
