    It looks so cool. I've also got those hex mounts coming, I didn't realise they don't work with the stock wheels so I'm going to buy a set of these tyres, because they also look wicked. Annoying because I've got a 3 sets of tires coming, all 12mm. I'm new to this.
    Thanks for the omni terminator videos though 👍

      Remember these trucks use Short Course wheels despite being a monster truck. If you insist on using those 17mm hex I'd look at getting some Arrma Senton 6s wheels

    Has anyone ear plugged the center diff yet? Mine is crazy loose and sends everything up front at the slightest wheelie, hard acceleration is just constantly bouncing the front tires up and down. I just wasn't sure if the diff would hold up once thickened up.

      The stock setup makes walking wheelies easy. With the 500k I have now it wants to just flip on its lid

    Looks good!! When you swap the diff cups will you be changing the dog bones or the wheel side cups out too? I ordered new diff cups for mine and have been debating if the new diff cups will then cause trouble for the dog bones..
    Also how do you keep it so clean!! Mine does not look that good even with some soap haha

    • @OmniMan_Racing
      @OmniMan_Racing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I ordered the diff cups and the rear upgraded wheel spline cups, I didn't order the dog bones but I really should have. I think swapping to cvd's in the rear is something I might do in the future. I wipe the truck down good after every run and I drive it in dirt often. I didn't show the new electronics going in on video but as over powered as it already is the new setup is gonna be dumb

    Im in between jobs right now but i'm ordering those tires and about 300 dollars worth of upgrades when i get my first paycheck lmfao. How's the weight compared to the originals? They look fricken awesome with the wheel hexes, great job dude!

    • @OmniMan_Racing
      @OmniMan_Racing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The wheels are a little bit heavier than stock. DO NOT get 1/10 monster truck wheels they are entirely too big. Make sure to go with short course wheels. Stock wheels for a senton 6s are also a good option. Personally I'd take that $300 for mods and buy another truck, the more the merrier

      @OmniMan_Racing im not rich but i really like this truck and would love to see it all built out. It's all that i wanted my AM-D12 to be, although I'm growing skeptical of the 48p pinion/centerdiff setup. My speed pinion has been wearing which could either be a bad sign, or its due to sand or me being a noob and having tight mesh.
      Other than that, yeah that means about 300 bucks worth of upgrades when all is said and done. S2 driveline, new ESC/receiver/transmitter, servo mount, servo, the alu steering saver+brace... i want the alu chassis braces and id love the paddle tires that are supposed to be coming; i live near the beach.
      I love the Kagama but i don't own a car so the Omni makes the most sense for me practically speaking.

    My 17 mm are on the way I ordered them months ago with my Carbon version a got my Terminator but no 17mm & I’d say Rlaarlo has almost non existent customer service. But the picture they have with the 17mm kit with a pair of their wheels has people confused but some say the picture was fixed but they do have other wheels on their site but I don’t see any that say 17mm others say you pop off the center of the stock wheel. I’d rather get my own wheels like you did but don’t want the tires to be much bigger.

    • @OmniMan_Racing
      @OmniMan_Racing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The 17mm hex conversion doesn't allow you to use stock wheels. 6s Arrma senton wheels are a good choice too. Mojave wheels are too big, maybe the 4s Mojave wheels might work

    Why do some go through all the time and effort and yet fail to provide any REAL information?!
    It just boggles my mind, why bother?!
    First off, putting Short Course (SC) wheels on this rig is nonsensical given that there are so many better choices.
    BTW, here's the omitted info. He installed the Pro-line PRO119010, Trencher X SC 2.2"/3.0" , which are 110mm high, 47mm wide.
    Original wheels are 104mm x 50mm.....
    Sure it's close enough overall but SC rims (2.2"/3.0") are nowhere near an optimum choice given a monster trunk configuration.
    The MUCH better choice are the Pro-line PRO1015910, Trencher LP 2.8" MT wheels, which are wider (as proper MT wheels should be) at 108mm high X 56mm wide.
    ...and for the love of God, this puny little 5lbs RC will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER need 17mm hexes!!!!!!!!!

    • @OmniMan_Racing
      @OmniMan_Racing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Stock wheels ARE short course style wheels regardless of actual size. Staying on a SC wheel keeps the handling characteristics the same
