parachuting into a compound of beautiful women? im not sure what there is to complain about that show. i think you are forgetting the target audience in the 1980s. We also had Airwolf, The Fall Guy, 6 Million Dollar Man, The A Team and many more.
First thank you for watching. Im not complaining about the show. I love Knight Rider. Its just a video highlighting the bad episodes in humouristic way. I also made a video with the best episodes. Im an 80s child, i grew up watching most of the Tv shows you mentioned. Im just sharing my opinion
I've always preferred the Larson run episodes from 1982 only when KITT had the flashing red square still. Not buddy-buddy yet and had a bit more serious tone than the rest of the series
Yeah the first few Larson episodes were really good. Imo the first 2 seasons were very good, it started going a bit down hill with a few episodes in season 3 and then season 4 was a train wreck minus a few episodes.
My problem with Knight Rider series is that the top 10 or 15 episodes (like KITT v/s KARR, Goliath Returns Knight of the Drones and Knight of the Juggernaut) set the proverbial bar for the series so high, that all the other episodes seem so mundane and boring.
I never had a problem with RC, but I can it tell they brought in Peter Perros to appeal more to a Black audience. Since every Black person I knew growing up in the 80's loved 'Knight Rider'. They were trying to reach a bigger Black demographic.

Rewatching 'Knight Rider' on Netflix a couple years, you can definitely see the decline in this series as the show went on.

RC ruined Knightrider
