try doing african threading for your blow dry, then add a heat protectant and then flat iron with just one pass. African threading blow dries the hair very well and it cuts down on the overall heat you need to straighten you hair.

I used different heat protectants at different stages. So a water based one before blow drying and an oil based one before straightening. It should say if you can use it on dry hair.
How does your hair not get stiff? I wash my hair, deep condition, blow it out, use heat protectant and use the chase method but it ends up so stiff. Maybe its the straightener?

Last time I straightened was July, and I blow dry maybe once or twice a month. Straight hair is always a nice break from detangling lol

That used to happened to me, what I realized was I didn’t fully rinse out the deep conditioner so it was weighing my hair down. Hope that helps!
