As a Catholic from Latin rite I'm drawn to the Eastern rite more. More specifically drawn to the Orthodox Church but I don't want to leave the Catholic church so Byzantine rite seems like home to me. And Eastern Churches have beautiful Icons more than statues which we often see in the Latin rite and this really got me interested in learning how to draw the icons. I'm really not an artist but I'll try my best and one day I can hopefully decorate my house with different Icons in every room. 🥰

These are becoming very useful videos. In fact, I think the most useful and clear of any that I've found online. I just wonder one thing, though, if you might be able to increase the volume. I have the sound turned up all the way on both TH-cam's page and my computer, and I can still only barely hear you. It's very faint, and any background noise at all, like the fan or traffic, drowns you out completely.

@@PaintingtheLight Hi, yes, it's the same on all of them. It's fine if I plug in my speaker which has better sound, but the computer by itself doesn't pick it up loud enough to hear. (I have a new computer, so it might be me.)
