Nothing like Mashona to improve the wreck that is modern cattle. My best ones are 1/2 Mashona up here in northern OK, but even 1/4 is a big improvement. Good work, Brett!
Wow, that took quite a lot of work getting everybody moved and paired up -and to then get the ‘young fellas’ in with the ladies. I hope over your extended breeding time you can now get a high percentage of the cows impregnated and that you can get ‘Hang Loose’ feeling better and able to participate. Your work and ability to keep your eye on the end goal is inspiring. It will be interesting to follow how things play out with these ladies.
@@joycesmith4764 we don’t use any chemicals. The best fly control is move the animals to fresh pasture and don’t come back for several days, usually about 60.

Your cattle look really good but don't see much grass and they don't appear to eat the weeds. Do you do anything for weed control?
@@Teresa-u3c goats👍🏻👍🏻. I don’t have enough yet.
Seems you might need some fly control?
