Tim Armstrong (guitar) and Matt Freeman (bass) went on to form Rancid. You can hear his slurry background vocals. The singer went on to form a few other bands too. They essentially were one of the starters of the entire ska punk scene. #themoreyouknow
In my opinion operation ivy is the best ska punk band ever. 10/10 all day
They are the og ska punk
It's a shame Stza is such a douche because I've always preferred Choking Victim but it feels weird hyping them up these days tbh

10/10 Love this song
One of the best ska punk bands
"Crowd", "Vulnerability" or really anything. Whole album is great!
Added those to our request list! -Joel
@@KnightscastStudios appreciate it.
"Whole album is great!" Yup. Totally kills.
Oooh, nice choice! Knowledge is another great one by Operation Ivy.
Hell yeah, added it to our list! 🤘 -Joel
Yes! And or unity!
The best gateway drug into punk rock of all time
Great band. Legendary!
Really love Op Ivy, as an adult I would spend any amount of money to see a reunion
I would looove to see a reunion show as well! -Joel
They are ska. They were an influence to a lot of bands.
For op Ivy you need to do 'Crowd' and 'Unity'
Added these for you as well :) -Joel
These teenage boys invented ska punk
One of the best bands to come out of the old East Bay punk scene!
They're considered ska-punk or ska-core, but I like the Skankin Pickle lable of Ska-Funk-Rasta-Punk
Matt Freeman is a beast on bass guitar....by the way, they paved the way for the current ska music. Everyone these days try to copy them.
Rancid and Green Day.
nailed it. chorus into pause into chorus. repetitive. One of my fav songs but always had that problem with it.
