- When we incur financial debt, we have obligated ourselves to pay back what we owe. But how do we pay back our spiritual debt of sin?
Dr. Stanley teaches us that God’s only answer to our sin-debt was and is the cross. Through His love and justice He sent an innocent person to the cross to die for our sins. The result proved that:
1. The sacrifice was accepted.
2. Redemption was completed.
We must understand that this atoning death is the heart of the gospel. Christ summed it up when He said, “ ‘It is finished!’ And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.” John 19:29-31

I think Dr. Stanley understands scripture better than I do. I have a poor memory. It is a serious deficit. It makes study very difficult. I am grateful for his ability to retain the Word of God. He is able to be concise and makes scripture more accessible for me.
Sue I use to think that as well about myself. So I got a few books on memory. Used what I learned and it changed everything. It’s like everything else once you understand it you know what to do to improve it. Memory is no different. Then once you learn the techniques just apply them to the Scriptures… it’ll work for you promise God bless you

I see a lot of video popping up saying "last good sermon on day of he dies" so which one of them video's was his last sermon to us?? I do hope that IN TOUCH MINISTRIES continues to put out Pastor Stanley's teachings bcz some of us are still learning the study of the bible. I've watched on TH-cam n listen to radio broadcast for some years. Even had sent many bible studies to my son whom is in prison. I am very thankful for the way he walks us through the word of God. Thank you Lord Jesus for Your faithful servant to teach us. I will miss his teaching if you discontinue the videos. But I will always remember how he remains to tell us to 😢 LISTEN when he is making his direct point.

That's a false diagnosis of the problem. It is the sin condition-not the acts that lead to death-that are the problem.
Evangelical Protestantism's diagnosis of the problem is based off the Roman legal system-you committed the crime and now you're on the hook to pay the debt you owe.
When Psalms 51:5 says we're born in sin and conceived in iniquity-a condition of fear-driven selfishness that leads to the acts that to death. We need a remedy-a cure-a transformation of the heart by the Spirit-cutting away the dross of selfishness and putting in a new righteous heart within the believer.
Sin is not a legal matter that needs to be paid for by some legal payment that declares us legally righteous even though we are not. We are human beings drowning in the pit of our sin-we need an actual transformation of being where we actually love God and others more than self.
If the word of God, Jesus Christ Himself said:"""But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses""" In Matthew 6.15 ; It means that Dr Charles Stanley is wrong in this message !!!
