Cuba Gooding getting a fake haircut. If you watch the scissors you notice Eddie never even touches Cuba's curly wig with them. He's just clipping the air.
@@jamesagwe2981 In the sequel they should make Arsenio do more work as the barber. In the first movie all he did was just sit down in the chair and eat food.
They made this movie in my neighborhood. I remember when I first saw McDowells I thought it was a McDonald’s knock off restaurant. I had no idea they were filming a movie. I saw this shortly after it came out I thought it was one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen it several more times since I can practically recite the entire script.
I was born in 86 didnt see this until i was like 10.. between coming to america, trading places, or beverly hills cop its hard to choose his best movie. Also got to give love to 48 hours
It is unbelievable how accurate Eddie Murphy does the old Jewish guy. By the way I just got the old men’s I joke too. First time I watched it I thought it was total nonsense
One of my favorite movies of all times! Eddie is the best doing impersonations! I had 'Soul Glo' as my ringtone when we first got cell phones and downloading everything. All us late 80s early 90s girls know dippity do and dep 🤣
Fun Fact: They actually used Rick Berman's ( the special effects make-up artist) father-in-law as the ''template'' and double in a couple of scenes and the old gentleman wasn't even jewish. Eddie even got him, his own dressing room for the shoot.
@@fezzik7619 I was 18 when the movie came out. I like watching the Special Edition dvd that shows behind the scenes features, including footage of Eddie having the Jewish guy make-up being put on his face by make up artist Rick Baker, and improvising and ad-libing in a screen test as the character.

Why didn't they make a sitcom out of these characters? Was it too hard for Eddie to regularly play two characters at the shop? It would have been a classic sitcom by now though.
Can you react to RICH ROLLIN “Game in my hand” the song is 🔥🔥🔥 you won’t be disappointed I promise you and he’s Tongan from Cali the Bay Area family are Tongan crips please react and spread it out?

"I don't know how old he was, but he got his ass whooped" - still one of my favorite lines.
To me the barbershop scenes were the best part of the whole movie. Love their conversations
My favorite Eddie Murphy movie! 🤣🤣
The Greatest Romantic Comedy Film Of All Time!!!
Coming to America and Trading Places!
Trading Places!!!

The best kind of comedy is timeless.
These scenes will be great forever.
This movie is a stone cold classic. Arsenio should have gotten more movie work. Cuba getting a hair cut.
They just announced a sequel

Arensio’s laugh at 5:52 always gets me lol
JC, you almost made me cry when you caught the joke. Thank you guys so much for always making me laugh.
@Ms. Boombalati he has a bowl of soup but no spoon to eat with primarily hahahaha
Was that a very young Cuba gooding jr at 1:16?
Yes, Cuba Gooding Jr with a very bad curly wig getting a fake haircut. Eddie never touches the wig, he just clips the air with the scissors.
You could've just went to imdb and checked.

Playing 3 characters in one or more scenes is just another day at the office for Eddie Murphy. Him and Arsenio each play 4 characters in the movie.
5:51 laugh same as the nutty professor scene "who call my name and the answer a fart" LOL
I forgot that Eddie Murphy played Saul in this scene. 🤣
Sometimes Saul is played by an actual old white man: 0:11-0:15, 0:24-0:27 and other moments, for example 5:39-5:44

He played almost everyone in that scene. :-D

Mr. Clarence was always lying about who he knew!
Lol !
that's the first time I got the spoon joke too, hehehe, and I saw the damn movie when it first came out!
There have been more than a few movies where I didn't get a joke until years later.
That boy Cuba Gooding Jr now known as Butt Naked 😭🏃💨💨
Could have made a whole movie based on that barber shop. :)
Ice Cube literally went along and did that 😂🤣
Can’t wait to see the sequel. You KNOW that’s going to be funny as hell!
Man that one guy always has a plate of food lol
That's Arsenio!

One of the funniest movies STILL. Hilarious. Did y'all notice 'Fancy" from Jaimie Foxx Show throwing down the flower pedals...?
