  • When SHTF do you think it would be easer to protect a big garden or a small one. Maybe you don't have the area for a big garden. With a few buckets and this video you can start a small garden to help lower food cost and give you a better understanding how to garden when the time comes. Turn that black thumb green. ENJOY

I'm so glad to see someone else try this with cat litter buckets! I got sick before my project got beyond five buckets: potatoes and sweet potatoes. Got up to almost 100° several days in a row, potatoes didn't like it. Sweet potatoes are likely to swallow my yard!

Very nice work brother! I have grown some excellent tomatoes and peppers in buckets gardens. Last year I tilled up the flower bed area in my yard and had a bumper crop of okra as well. The produce is really good and you enjoy eating it knowing that you did the work. I hope your plants yield a great crop for you and your family.

Black Hat Bushcraft This will be the first attempt for me. I like to experiment to see what works and doesn’t. I think doing this gives me a little more control. Thank you for you for watching brother.

I've been doing this a few years now...same kind of buckets. Fill buckets to top with soil within 1/8". No rocks needed unless have continuous h2o source or live in Washington state with their massive rain amounts. The rain will compact soil down very quickly.

It truly is. That is one reason I made the video. To give them the recognition. As always thank you for watching.

On those thin packs I always mash in the bottom of plastic turn it over with stem between 2fingers & put in hole. Don't have to be that gentle. With tomatoes extra stem under dirt will grow extra roots. I put 2 plants for tomatoes & peppers per bucket. Of course this IS your way. Hope my experiences are Ok to add here?
