  • This was definitely one of the closest and most extraordinary Jump-Offs we've seen for a long time. At the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ in Amsterdam, it was Daniel Deusser who took the top spot with a time of 33.54 sec. But right after that, Pierre Schwizer went into the lead with just two-tenths of a second ahead. Last to go was Henrik Henrik von Eckermann who flew through the arena and finsihed his round in 33.01 sec.

    Oh goooood I wish I'd been there! Just incredible. You know every one of their trainers told them to just leave everything out there in the arena

    It’s sad to see how sloppy the Swedes ride, everyone except Peder Fredricson. I’m not proud to be a rider from here. :/

    • @wilmadhabermann6296
      @wilmadhabermann6296 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Excuse me? I'm a swedish rider as well and Henrik is one of the best riders and Peder. what's wrong with their riding? I'm 19 so i have seen these rider in a looong time. So don't call Henrik for a sloppy rider ever again. Look at over riders who rides with worst tecnic. Like the norways rider from Falsterbo Horse Show for example! :)

    • @Michelle-wb1ui
      @Michelle-wb1ui 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wilma The Ninja That’s not what I’m saying. I agree with the thing you said about Norway’s rider. But really, I just don’t like the fact that he’s all over the horse. He’s pulling its mouth a lot and I really just feel unease seeing his horse. As an eventer since birth I really see the dressage basics missing out, like being still in the saddle and having soft hands. It’s basics dammit! I’ve been to multiple riding schools in Sweden, including the one in Stockholm, and I still haven’t seen anyone teach the basics of seat and hand. It really bothers me seeing people ride like this and still getting good scores. I see it more of using the horse as a machine than thinking of what’s best for it. :/

    • @wilmadhabermann6296
      @wilmadhabermann6296 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@Michelle-wb1ui don't take every single swedish rider over the side Michelle. You haven't seen every rider in sweden. Which means you can't take everyone over at that side. Henrik is a really talented rider. this was a jump off and everyone can rides like this there. I can do that sometimes but i can't call that for pulling in the mouth. If he don't take much before the fences in a jump off it will proberbly being much fauls in a high level like this :) have a good day

    • @Amanda-rv5hz
      @Amanda-rv5hz 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Michelle-wb1ui he's also not pulling her mouth much at all, he is giving her rein most of the ride and the rest of it when he asks her to slow down he just keeps his hands still, giving plenty of release over the jumps. You need a contact when jumping these hights, you not being able to tell the difference between contact and pulling really tells me that you haven't got that much of a clue at all.
