That's not unreasonable. I was up to double that for a while.
After several surgeries, and 5 discs in my back trashed over a period of 6 months on was up to 1000 mg of oxy, the biggest problem with those drugs is for me at least it takes more and more to get relief of pain, I started with 30mg twice a day to 1000mg, after a year it was out of hand, couldn't find a limit.
I was on 15 Norco a day (10 mg Vicoden , The yellows) , That was all I could afford . It costed roughly 300 per week . That was when you could order 90 per order over the net about 10 years ago ... Other then that , It is very hard to get that much .. You need money to back and the supply to be had but those of us who have had the supply and enough to pay can vouch that there is no count that is enough sense they stop working all together once you hit about 5 per day .. The increase is the brain thinking "take more to work " but they will not work at 5 per day or at 10 or at 15 not if you try to sustain for a week or more ...etc etc etc
