This is Robin William's best movie, this one and the Fisher King. Funny how in all the media following his death, these two aren't mentioned. I've never cried before at the death of a celebrity, but I did today. Great film, sadly now forever tinged. If you've seen it you'll know what I mean. no spoilers from me!
Absolutely. & by the way "The Fisher King" is one my favorite all time films. It grips me every time. Especially that part about the 'Jack Lucas Story' of the 'beaten & the botched'. A sheer drunken perspective I can certainly relate heavily to from my past. Cheers to you, brother.
i just finished watching it and immediately thought it was super underrated. some of the dialogue hasn’t aged that well but the concept and satire do so much to balance it out. makes me wanna consume more goldwaite, cause i’m unfamiliar.

This is so great! He is just so human. Love hearing them discuss the character and just free flow with each other.
It's Genie and Pain.
World-class film, deserves cult status
