      When the time comes I plan on doing a 4.6 stroker and going through these vids for some guidance.

    Nice. This episode reminded me of an old shade tree mechanic episode.

    I'll be getting those engine mounts the next time I change them out, might be awhile because I just swapped them out at the beginning of the year, before you changed them on Jason's YJ... Besides they are "currently unavailable" on Amazon right now...

    • @JeepSolid
      @JeepSolid  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are good ones 👍

    That ratchet is currently out of stock. When I was installing my 4.0 and needed something like that, I went to Home Depot and got a Husky
    3/8 in. Flex-Head, Extendable Ratchet SKU #1001383476. A bit more than what I wanted to pay; but, it made a lot of things a lot easier. It is worth it. The ratchet in the video looks like the Husky one; but, I guess not.

    Which video show the disconnecting the wiring harness, fuel rail and that sort of thing? I need to reverse engine that portion for my engine swap.

    • @JeepSolid
      @JeepSolid  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I show that in one of my earlier episodes. I can't look right now, but it's there.

    I know this has nothing to do with your video but I want a trusted opinion on the yj trackbar removal subject. Should I keep the factory trackbar or remove it because it is “not needed” like most people say? Thanks!

    • @JeepSolid
      @JeepSolid  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My preference is to leave it. It adds some stability to the axle.

    My jeep is 6” lifting can I use the sein mount for

  • @sincitydude7296
    @sincitydude7296 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is it easier to do it the way you did it in the video rather than already having the mounting brackets bolted to the vehicle already? If so, why? I'm installing a new engine in my 96 Grand Cherokee and there's more bolts on the mounting brackets that mount to the car itself.

    • @JeepSolid
      @JeepSolid  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's easier to leave them off until the engine is in. The design of the passenger mount makes it hard to get into position.
