For someone that doesn't build any more often than u do u did a great job with the jig saw I have been wood working for fifteen years and I wouldn't say that all four of Mt curs would have done that
So i wired my subs + to + and - to - then i doubled up on one of them to lead to box. but from the box to the amp i got the wires mixed up. are my speakers or wire fried? i cant get the subs to play. (Planet audio 1500W) (2 Rockfordfosgate 12"s)
So im assuming the amps will be running independently from 1 another, Would it still be recommended to have separate chambers if the 2 amps were strapped?
I’m building the same style box for a pair of 12s with the port blowing through my rear seat armrest. My only concern is that I’ll get some sort of cancellation or the bass not be as loud with the port like that. I read somewhere that you shouldn’t put the port on the opposite side of the subwoofer. Is there any truth to this or what is your take?

Use a circle jig. You can even make your own if you have the right tools to do it. It's usually best to invest in a router, lot easier to put flares on ports and flush mount double baffles.
Rasmusstol If u dont have something that makes perfect hole. then cut close but a bit small and sand out the rest of way makes sexy hole. pole clamps help alot. and having guides for you saws for straight cuts.
I understand it's 2:1 but if your sub requires 4cubes for ported box do you just add a 2 cube sealed section and what software can I download to tune it

Orlando c its good practice. I press it into the corners with my finger too. If there ends up being a hole in the glue along the port, it will probably be a bitch to fix

We work so hard to get all our equipment wether its cheap or not it still costs sweat and time for someone to like your setup ans just steal it i quickly thiught of u when they stole ur wire great vid btw keel up the good wor llhqve been following u since u had ur orions take care man

Damn, remeber when i made my first 12" holes with a jigsaw, never got them nice, but after my 3-4 box its bether, anny1 got anny good tips?
Use a router on a tramle/compass bar. More dust and time but they come out awsome. Cheep arse £30 router and cheep arse strait bit.

where is the part 3?
tuned to 47Hz? i thought it would be lower
Bandpass tuning is different. The lows are controlled by the volume of the sealed section, and the higher bass is controlled by the port.
I would cut top on box, flip it upside down and pull the box, all the stuff will remain on ground even easier.. ;)

The ported side was tuned to around 45hz. The lows are handled by the sealed section.
