- Im sure this is going to make some people mad but best standup jetski gets built with the best jetski engine! And people are going to be fired up about this one. Superjet or jetski Yamaha or Kawasaki 1100 two stroke or 701 2 stroke hydro turf or jet trim

I have a SXR with a 701 only took me 3 years to put it together. You guys are way faster with your builds. Definitely fits better than the Yamaha 1200.
I just ordered the Krash Predator. The non-refundable down payment was made. Would be sick to ride with you guys some time and let yall try it when I get it. I sold my old sxipro race ski for 5k to some desperate guys. I don't race IJSBA anymore it has beat me up. It's time just to ride for fun. Your Yamaha is going to be a ripper! I think you guys went over the swap details way too quickly. Your videos are fun because of the goofyness, but the goofyness to technical ratio was way off on this one given how nice of a ski it is and how nice the swap is. I have an 08 superjet, and would love to know more about this swap. Whats up with the engine bedplate? did you modify it or buy a kit? Exhaust, did you remove the outer skin and dry the pipe out? Electrical mounting solutions? How much of the midshaft was removed? I think this needs a follow up video that is more in depth and technical. Also before and after weight would have been awesome to know.

Hey guys, I have a running Monte Carlo tiger shark missing jet pump and have a couple seadoo spx body’s with jet pumps, do you think it would be worth swapping the tiger shark engine into one of those hulls?
We love a good engine swap. But yeah the Tiger shark engines are the best part about those skis. So I would say go for it
I was going to put a 900 tiger in a seadoo and it would have been a PITA! I even made the bed plate before cutting bait. If its a 640 or 770 it will probably be pretty reasonable to do.

I do like the 1100 triple. But I'm up here trying to figure out how to fit a 1630 seadoo engine into my Kawasaki SuperChicken... If 52hp was good on a SC, 300hp should be more good.

Omfg no way you just blew up your new engine! You guys know that you can't run a PWC engine without the water hose for more then 10 seconds! You'll burn the thing up electronics and all! Well that's at least what 1784 people screamed at me on the Yamaha waverunner owners group! It will burn it all up just like that! Hehehe hahaha lol dumb shits anyway. I've got some work for Liv is it? Lots of old stickers and decals to peel off here. And awesome that Jake CNC built the mating surfaces that's so cool! Now I feel like I need to build a stand up with a Kawasaki 1100

No doubt can’t run for a second without water 😂 in fact I think it’s best to remove spark plugs and put the garden hose in the spark plug holes and turn it on before starting on land that way you can be sure the engine is getting enough water 😂🍻

Do you guys think there is a market for small stand up Jet Ski's? Like a new 300/650SX or X-2. I guess they don't want to try and make a super compact 4 stroke engine but it would be pretty amazing. Although companies like Kawasaki are probably going to have to look into making an electric Jet Ski soon.
Oh I think they would be great. I think if it was the right time and they built them right they would take off. They could develop engines based off 450 dirt bike architecture that make 60hp. A 300sx with a 60hp fuel injected 450 4 stroke would rip!
There are probably a lot of fun ideas they could do but I just don't see them investing in I.C.E anymore. Going electric will probably make a lot of things more simple for them but at the same time they better make sure an electric Jet Ski never takes on water.@@Jacobskibros

You guys won't be doing it right until we see the small block V8 550 with headers coming out each side of the hood cover... you know this obviously has to be done even if it ends up completely ridiculous and questionable if such a thing be can even float! Come on guys, get a scrap hull and a cheap/decent beater engine and start hackin'! There is one thing you can guarantee regardless of outcome... super rad content!
BTW, I think you built pretty much the perfect stand-up in this video if you could only have just one!

Looks sick Boy's and Gal... I wish you guys would get A polaris Pro 785 or at least A SLX 780. They are awesome cheep ski's and once you do the triple fule pump switch and go to premix they are reliable ski's and A lot of fun! I'm from MN so we have A lot of them here because polaris is from Minnesota but would love to see you guys on A polaris

Nice, what conversion bed plate did you guys use? Also how did you do your exhaust routing to the other side. Graphics look good. I need a set like that that goes down the entire side of the ski to hide some of my not so great paint work blemishes. Idk, I’m gonna have to say the Octane for the noise. Only if it’s the regular Polaris engine with the factory pipe. If not then the yamawi/ kawaha or better yet waveski.
I used a rad dudes bed plate. I had to cut it up and reweld it. It must have been defective because it wouldn't have worked on any of my skis the way it came.

I had the superjet before the sea rat. Just needed to really ruin it in various ways before 1100 swapping it.

Great Stuff! Nice build. Have you guys done a fixed steer SJ yet? I've got an old square nose I'm thinking of modernizing by putting on a fixed steer and a 760. I've ridden one a few times and really liked it. Anyone have a kit for sale?

I have the jetrim pads on my 08 SJ. I prefer them more on the standups than the HT or competitors. I also have the set back wedge from prowatercraft. It might help bc your a fairly tall guy. Helps putting the weight on the nose. Might need that with the extra HPs.

It’s just a custom zxi 1100 pipe
It's a standard 1100 pipe with the waterjacket cut off and a center bleed mod. It's mostly the same as Joel's X2 pipe. He has a video that is pretty detailed showing what he did.
For the record I like watching the process of builds… I know you guys are going in a new direction for the videos and it’s cool and all for the masses, but seeing the small details and issues and accomplishments is cool too. Anyway thanks for the standup content and have a good day
@Jacobskibros that's cool! Was that Joel's mod to turn it into a center bleed? Centerbleeds (typically) are a more efficient expansion chamber, so why not?

Hi Liz
The 1100 Kawi might be a little less HP than the Yamaha 1200 but it supposedly has a much better center of gravity with the lay down style pipe as well. Should maneuver a lot better I would think.
I put a 1200 in a square nose long before this build. The yamaha pipe is a huge pain and there isn't much you can modify on it. You have to cut up the hood liner. The exit diameter is huge. With a triple in a superjet, it makes more sense to worry about how nice the engine fits in the hull than where the weight is since you have no extra room anyway. The 1100 fits really good the way I did it. It's not bad to work on. It matches the 144 pump better than a 1200 does. I don't think it's any slower than a 1200. My preference between the 2 engines is more based around how they fit in a stand up hull.

Josh, I absolutely loved the series on the V8 jet ski! You seem like a solid and no nonsense guy. Your tenacity, skill and work ethic are top notch for what you have to work with. With that said, jacob is a world class douche! I mean seriously he is just another one of these youtubers that try to manufacture a personality when the camera is on so they think they are interesting or funny or whatever. He is neither and it is obvious. The guy is just a Jaggov. When I watch you're videos I literally have to fast forward through his parts or I will have to x-out of the video it's so awkward, embarrassing and off putting. This video is no exception. Looks to me like he may have spouted off to the wrong person and they knocked his teeth out, that would explain all his capped front teeth. I'm sure you will take this very personally being your brother and all but I think it need to be said, he hurts the channel in my view.
