Great job. I just think marcels give more definition to the curls. I do use both when I do my short styles. I normally use the flat irons on the top and marcels on the sides and back. I just feel marcels give that nice clean definition where flat irons no matter how small give a bigger curl. I can't explain it, it is just a difference.
I do too. Marcels give a short cut precision and definition. The flat iron results look nice, but don't look quite as salon finished bc the curls aren't locked in. There's also more shine w Marcel curling. But I guess it boils down to the desired finished look.
I have two observations/questions: Why is the sectioning/parting so sloppy and uneven when cutting the hair? Why is the application of the molding foam “slopped” on the hair, neck, ears? Seems unpleasant for the client.
That relaxer and dye is going to make already fragile hair- more fragile. This is not a mystery. If she wants her hair to stop breaking off.. she needs to go natural. If she is not willing to do that, then she’ll continue to breakage. If she likes it, I love it!
I think she uses a rinse for her relaxed clients and it’s not supposed to cause breakage. I’m natural too so I’m not sure just stating what she’s said.
I think that is why so many are going back to relaxers. They thought their hair was going to grow longer and healthier until they silk pressed their hair, and then they found out their hair is still uneven, broken, and damaged. Unfortunately, going natural isn't the cure. If they were over relaxing, over processing or stretching to long between relaxers going natural may help. If you are dealing with alopecia, going natural isn't going to fix the problem.
@@sheliamurdaugh4259I agree. It all boils down to haircare and going natural doesn't mean you don't have to care for your hair. If you don't wash, condition, trim, and comb your hair enough, it won't flourish no matter if it's relaxed or natural.
Depends on why her hair broke. I'm middle aged. In addition to stress and the perimenopause, I'm dealing with, insomnia, low vitamin D and kow5 haemoglobin. It's getting worse as I get older and triggering hair loss in my natural hair. A lot of peopple do not have patience to carefully detangle natural hair so they relax.
@@sheliamurdaugh4259I have been told it’s harder to keep up with natural hair. My stylist told me that it is. She said a lot of people think by going natural you don’t have to maintain the your hair but you still have to get protein treatments and trims. I’m relaxed and get rinses. I don’t have to relax my hair but 3 times a year and rinses every 6 to 7 weeks.
Gm i have alot of hair loss and also losing my edges, i have tried many oils and now im considering your regimen as a last attempt. For about 6 months was using CW haircare oils without any growth. I started using blood pressure meds and diabetes meds anout 10 yrs ago, as a last attempt should i try your products.? Thank you
I am so guilty of this. Since I can braid my own hair I'm constantly keeping my braids in too long. I haven't gained the length that I wanted so I finally gave up my braids. Now I'm forced to care for my hair to achieve the length that I want.
You need to step your game up with your blue shampoo for gray hair. The lady with the long gray hair turned yellow the 1st time you used your blue shampoo when u flat ironed her hair. Deeper Than Hair has a NEW product called Stainless Steele for gray hair. Shampoo & conditioner it's 🔥 The VERY 1st time she used it on her clients gray hair with the blow dryer & flat iron it (DIDN'T) turn yellow. I'm just letting you know!
