But don’t expect they are going to tight your groups to practically one hole , the biggest advantage is that it’s easier to get a good tune compared then the original ones and so in some cases when people have a poor tune it can improve the accuracy a lot . But if your on top of your game and you already have a awesome tune , you could getaway with some higher or lower velocities and still have the same accuracy. Hope I made it understandable 😬 so not easy to bring that on screen
Is this a sleeve? Or is it a barrel? If it is a barrel, what about the rifling, the FX method of pressing in the lands and grooves from the outside? You are suggesting a barrel that either has no rifling or has cut lands and grooves? I am very interested in seeing the accuracy.
Hi , yes this is just a sleeve that houses the barrel liners from FX . The sleeve is made out of stainless steel and therefore more ridged then the aluminum sleeve that comes with the rifle . Although FX is going to release a carbon fiber sleeve that fits around the liners to give a similar rigid result
How many lands and grooves and what are the dimensions of the height of the land, or depth of the groove. Would you happen to know the acvtive length of the rifling and not just the barrel length? Thanks
Hi , that’s information I don’t have . Inside the barrels there is the OEM liner from FX . If you need that information there are many good groups in FB with some very technical people that might be able to answer that

Hey, got a quick question for you. Would the latest FX carbon fiber barrel sleeves work with the 100mm extension? I mean, if I’m installing one of the 100mm barrel extensions to convert my 500mm barrel to a 600mm barrel, will the internal FX barrel carbon fiber sleeve work for this set up? To my mind, the 600mm (its a little bit shorter I presume) carbon fiber barrel sleeve will not fit because of the 100mm extension threads will not leave enough space for the liner to fit. Still i can use a 500mm carbon fiber barrel sleeve I presume. Please confirm. Thank you very much
Hi mate , I am not able to advise you on that yet as I don’t have any of the cf liner sleeves yet 🙈 but with the 500 mm sleeve on a 600mm liner you should be able to use the extension
@@Airbuks yeah it is I'm going with the orings. If you wanna get the orings to stay on the barrel we're you put them on the sleeve wrap a thin layer of duct tape behind each one and when you push the barrel in they'll stay were you want them.
No the liner that has to be inside will be a custom size I will have to make . I could have asked him to make me one that fits a 380 but then the barrel was going to be a tad to long for the build I envisioned 😉

They are not a tight fit otherwise you need a barrel per caliber . So you still need to use something like a oring . I personally use shrink tube to put on the liners

Hi there, not 100%sure what you mean 🤔 if you want to convert a 25 barrel to a 22 you will need to buy the caliber exchange kit from Huma for the correct caliber . Or do you mean something else ?

I bought this transfer and a few weeks ago I changed the O-ring for small explosions as it did not seal correctly, but I have put the one that says FX and now the explosions are bigger (6.40 x 1.30mm) and I think that this Huma transfer is not is the measure. @@Airbuks According to FX Impact MK II the inner o-ring of the tranfer is 6.40 x 1.30 mm. I have this measurement in the original transfer but in the new V2 transfer it is not this measurement since I have explosions (loss of air in each shot) and that means that it has to be the same as the Impact M3 which is 6.35 x 1.30mm. You find that the slug pusher needle measures 6.46mm in diameter and the original one is 6.43mm in diameter. It is very clear that every time a new transfer is manufactured, the measurements change since these are not manufactured by FX but other companies such as many accessories that can be installed in the FX. Not really, I am still the most accurate with a 700mm barrel . The length offcours makes it so that it flexes a little therefore some simple additions like a SS sleeves or carbon fiber sleeve can help a great deal . It’s a good suggestion with the short barrel but have you ever seen a sniper shoot a short barrel 😉

Have a product made for the Dreamline tact compact old barrel design to mount an exchange power plenum with the beautiful old barrel sleeves make a 28 mm longer barrel sleeve attachment and plenum will fit.
I am afraid not , the SS tube has the same OD diameter as the original but the ID is a little smaller then te original and the CF liner sleeves won’t fit .At least not on mine . Confusing huma side, what do I need for the fx Dreamline Tac Compact 22cal , if I won't only the better components for pellets 🤔 without getting over 16joule.
If FX could just proper barrels rather than the liner system all accuracy and POI shift problems would disappear. Liners are accurate but too many things effect them
I don’t make them myself as I mention in the video but I believe there are over 100 sold 🤔 It’s a great upgrade but I think with the carbon fiber sleeves and shrouds these days you can achieve the same results
They are at least as accurate as the original ones , but I still have to do some more testing . The biggest benefit is that there is a lot less flex in it
Love the video but.... I recieved the sleeve and it was NOT straight. The dude told me that they dont produce the sleeves to be completely straight and they DONT recommend that you use a carbon sleeve inside for the liner. I REALLY regeret to have bought it!!
Nice video indeed, But i have the same problem, i ordered 2 sleeves and did recieved them but the threads are not straight If you put a huma transferport on the sleeves and roll it over something flat, you see that there is an offset What i mean is that the threads in the rvs sleeves are not in the centre And by pushing it in my Fx Impact, it wil not go into the breach blok because it is not allignt So i also regred to buy it
Great video my friend 👍 very bad design from FX have just had my liner and all this assembly striped down *FX* DL classic stx had to buy barrel band some of my cheaper guns ar better made than fx in suporting the barrel.. I like this mod and fx should cover the cost very unhappy 😒 still have problems with a barrel band new regular from fx is rubbish as well my opinion you pay for the brand name not the quality as the quality is bad don't think I will be buying *FX* ever again shame if the quality was better than it will be a great gun sorry fx but that's the truth

I got the carbon sleeve from Huma but it does not fit inside the RVS stainless sleeve. What size carbon was you using?
I haven’t installed the carbon sleeve on the SS barrel 🤔 the inner diameter of the SS might be smaller then the original sleeves

Just better accuracy as it’s stiffer . But it’s just a barrel housing so no other advantages

With this sleeve you don't have to use the o-ring anymore around the barrel. The barrel goes with a tight fit in the new rvs sleeve?

The extension works with every caliber it just extends by 100mm 👍🏻

No solution for that , I won’t fit as the wall of the ss is thicker, but with the rvs sleeve there is no need for the cf liner sleeve

They ar more stiff and don’t flex as much, it gives better harmonics and more forgiving if your tune isn’t spot on

It very easy , just unscrew the shroud form de barrel .
Loosen the 1/2 unf nut on the end and pull out your liner 🤷♂️

If you are a benrest shooter should you not then have as short a barrel as possible? To make it the stiffest possible.

Is the inox shroud in huma's website?
No for that you will have to mail to the address in the description
This is not a shroud, dont get confused. This is the sleeve or in other words barrel carrier.

If FX could just proper barrels rather than the liner system all accuracy and POI shift problems would disappear. Liners are accurate but too many things effect them

I don’t make them myself as I mention in the video but I believe there are over 100 sold 🤔
It’s a great upgrade but I think with the carbon fiber sleeves and shrouds these days you can achieve the same results

Are they accurate?
They are at least as accurate as the original ones , but I still have to do some more testing . The biggest benefit is that there is a lot less flex in it

I recieved the sleeve and it was NOT straight. The dude told me that they dont produce the sleeves to be completely straight and they DONT recommend that you use a carbon sleeve inside for the liner.
I REALLY regeret to have bought it!!
Oei sorry to here that 🙈 I don’t use the carbon sleeve yet , I will have to try it once FX has there’s released .

But i have the same problem, i ordered 2 sleeves and did recieved them but the threads are not straight
If you put a huma transferport on the sleeves and roll it over something flat, you see that there is an offset
What i mean is that the threads in the rvs sleeves are not in the centre
And by pushing it in my Fx Impact, it wil not go into the breach blok because it is not allignt
So i also regred to buy it

very bad design from FX have just had my liner and all this assembly striped down *FX* DL classic stx
had to buy barrel band
some of my cheaper guns ar better made than fx in suporting the barrel.. I like this mod and fx should cover the cost very unhappy 😒
still have problems with a barrel band new regular from fx is rubbish as well
my opinion you pay for the brand name not the quality as the quality is bad don't think I will be buying *FX* ever again
shame if the quality was better than it will be a great gun sorry fx but that's the truth
