Arh a night run on the full moon is the best. Then there are those who have snagged a mooring line and there are those who have yet to snag a mooring line glad you got it sorted. The burgee on your fore stay looks like one of the original Port Douglas Yacht Club burgees if it is thats a long time back. Love your work Norm great vids.

Good to see you made the passage OK mate, there is always something waiting to try you out . Running over the rope is better than running over the rocks you are an experienced seaman and able to handle problems in an orderly manner. The weather conditions haven't been too kind to you at all. Cheers Michael

Yep felt a bit stupid doing it and didn't need a swim that early dude. But just had to deal with it.

Hi Norm, I really enjoy your vids. Having lived aboard for 5 years myself, I was wondering if you might do a vid on how you handle waste; i.e. kitchen, sewage etc. Do you have a holding tank, macerator etc? Would be interesting for folks contemplating a SeaChange.

Hi Wendy, Norm, Ted, really enjoyed that passage to Port. Got a ? When ur coming into a bar or inlet etc how does that white light know a boat is approaching, for it to change to Port or starboard if ur off course please, do u have something on the boat that connects with it. I've got a headlight that has a red light as well as normal, it's a beauty, great for night passage. I see ur wearing my trackpants again. Take care🇦🇺🌈🐕

Hi dude. Nothing on the boat. The light is fixed in a direction to lead you over the bar, but has sectors that change if you are a little to the left or right of the course. So you steer along the white sector and if the light changes colour you adjust accordingly.
      Hope that helps.

Safe travels, another great episode. Please do my head a favor and trade those lifejackets in for ones with a crotch strap.

Yeah probably right dude, but too hard getting them on and off. We both swim very well and the bulwarks on the boat keep us pretty well on board. Thanks for thinking of us though.

Hi Dude and Dudette. Regarding your head light torches, I found a good one at Jaycar. all the usual features plus a choice of red or green led option. Mine lives on the boat..Night vision restored.. Excellent editing, no nonsense appraoch video...have subscribed. 👍

Thanks dude. I'll have to check them out next time I'm near a Jcar. The red light definitely helps.
