Even tho Sailor Moon was more popular, Saint Seiya had more magic and more episodes and Gundam had more mechas, there was something absolutely captivating about Rayearth... #1 anime. It was just soo.. aestheticaly pleasing, strike that - it was just beautiful!

Tjis is the 3rd opening to the series. Media Blasters/Bang Zoom! didn't use the proper second opening theme Kirai ni narenai, nor did they use the 3rd ending theme Itsuka Kagayaku.
2nd Opening to the English Dub that skipped the 2nd theme song from the Japanese version, while this was the 3rd Japanese opening. Put THAT in your annotation.
You’re correct but the 2nd opening is garbage compared to the other two, so I really don’t blame them for skipping it. This one is far, FAR superior to 嫌いになれない and you only get to enjoy it for 7 episodes with the original setup, so no complaints from me with the way it was changed.

You have to really dig but good ones are out there lately. You're mostly right though, you can't help but weep at the anime when one of the most raved about animes is basically Resident Evil/Biohazard with porn. And yes I do mean you Highschool of the dead! I mean no one has ever really heard of You're under arrest, Pretty Cure or Kimagure orange road. And most people think the stars of Gundam are Kira or Setsuna. It really makes you weep.

the comic ending is much better. They can go between earth and sefiro freely and there is a really nice scene between Hikaru and Lantis at the end
