Turning 26 in 2 weeks, and I'm still watching this masterpiece yearly since I was 7! As I grew wiser (and older) each year, I realised every deep meanings being portrayed in the show that my younger self couldn't. I learned that it's important to have courage in myself, friendships with trusted ones are forever, give more love to myself, knowledge is a powerful tool, sincerity is impactful no matter the actions or words, innocence and purity to protect myself from the toxic world, and hope & light to look forward to in life. Big thank you to the creators and musicians of Digimon for giving me a memorable childhood that kids this generation could not relate to. Thank you to Digimon for making this show a journey full of meanings that we get to discover later in life. Thank you for making me believe that I too, can be a Destined Child.

Pokémon is legitimately the bottom of the barrel trash compared to any monster catching show. The designs, graphics, story, and gameplay are all incredibly sterile, safe, and boring. The only time that the series ever had anything remotely close to a good story was with Black and White, combined with certain arcs of the manga and Mystery Dungeon. Nintendo and GameFreak made a monster that has had a stranglehold on the genre for over 2 decades. Only now with games like Palworld are we finally seeing some pushback and letting other games have a chance.

Pokémon is legitimately the bottom of the barrel trash compared to any monster catching show. The designs, graphics, story, and gameplay are all incredibly sterile, safe, and boring. The only time that the series ever had anything remotely close to a good story was with Black and White, combined with certain arcs of the manga and Mystery Dungeon. Nintendo and GameFreak made a monster that has had a stranglehold on the genre for over 2 decades. Only now with games like Palworld are we finally seeing some pushback and letting other games have a chance.

You were lucky- I watched this in the UK on CITV, where we had the same English Language dub as the US (As you would expect). This is SO MUCH BETTER than "Digimon are the Champions" and "Hey Digimon!" I wasn't even aware of this song until I was an adult and discovered it on TH-cam lol!
