Thanks! It's a cool little Dean's to Dean's plug that has a split off for a JST plug. I use it to plug in my BEC. I'll be doing a full wrap up video of the SCX10 here in the next week or so. I think it's finally done!
It's kinda the way it worked out right now...My electro box is much bigger than stock and the battery for that matter (I have the receiver, light module, couple of Jst plugs to add additional lights, Castle BEC, etc) I do plan to swap the battery and electronics box in the future when I get a couple of larger capacity 3s lipos (3300mah 3s vs 2200mah 3s) You'll love the Honcho. Lots of fun and versatility. I've done a few mods in my time where I've said "Why'd I do that", but this isn't it!
ThreeMsRC Unfortunately, my SCX10 has gone on to a new owner......But from what I remember, the tabs cut short a regular 140mm Stick pack Lipo by about 1/2"
The RCNetwork no, like how you have you battery tray mounted before you put the new jenve tray on. 4:23 i want my battery like how it is on the scx10 at that moment. oh wait, after i wrote that, i noticed it moved, is that tray even mounted. lol
How would I set up the chassis mounted servo? Since I have the 3racing panhard kit installed on my scx10. I need to know if I would be able to have this and put that servo up top. If you could please respond, then I would be obliged to here your thought on this. Thanks again
i have the level 3 racing panhard already installed, how would i go from that to this? since the picture on their website shows the servo on the chassis and on the battery tray. it was very confusing
I don't believe you would be able to run the Jevne Racing battery plate with that panhard. I may work with some modification. Jevne does have a version for a chassis mounted servo, but it's for a totally different version.
i enjoy your quality videos however this one confuses me u spent $45 to put things back in the exact form as stock. I got my first scaler 4 days ago (axial honcho) and that is exactly where my battery and electronics are??????????????
@The RCNetwork Why are you mounting your battery up top on Jevne racing plate? Doesn't this defeat the purpose of it... By putting the battery up top your COG becomes a problem again.
The RCNetwork That's awesome Rich ! I thought I had seen all the videos in your honcho series, but must have missed this one. I wonder if one of these plates would work with the GCM motor/tranny mount. It would put all the weight right where I want it.
It is a great product. It really cleans up the inside of the SCX10. Also the hidden feature of stiffening up the chassis.

Might have to get one of these for my SCX10.
RPP Hobby has them. Should be a link in the vid description.
Hey man I really like your vids. Btw, what is the red thing plugged into your esc? Thanks
What is the measurement between the two battery tabs? I'm curious if my lipo would fit between those tabs. Thanks!
ThreeMsRC Unfortunately, my SCX10 has gone on to a new owner......But from what I remember, the tabs cut short a regular 140mm Stick pack Lipo by about 1/2"
The RCNetwork hay could I stuff a 16000mah lipo in this lol I need it to run for a week on one battery
where can i get one of these? so clean! i need one!
how do you do the sideways battery mod to start with? i have small electronics so i don't mind my electronics in the rear
I originally mounted my Lipo on the rails of the rock sliders (if that's what you mean by the sideways battery mod.)

Do you mean the Level3 Panhard? (level3rc-store.com/axial-scx10-trucks-c-2/axial-scx10-chassis-mounted-servo-kit-with-panhard-bar-p-128.html)

ah ok,well thanks for the time to have this small discussion with you
So whats the point of the batttery tray?To add more weight?
Wazza722 technically it was to lower the weighty mass of the battery...but I ended up switching everything around

what front bumper is that?
RC Crawler2002 It's a Pro-Line Ridgline bumper. I normally run an RC4WD Rock Armor

Rodney Roof I'm running a very small pack......which I actually changed back a while after this video was shot
Think im going to switch out my Howler Customs battery/ electronics tray for this one. That way my esc will be up front instead of on the side.
looks like you might have raised your CG, I liked your old mount better
Check out this video on TH-cam:
J Denomy, here's the vid. I think I mis-spelled Jevne earlier!

Not sure on the GCM. thanks for watching.
You've got good taste in RC man, I've also got the Gelande 2, as well as the Tekno EB48 and SCT410. All great kits !
alright, fine.....Thumbs up!!!! lol
Like if there was a like button rich!
