- Spanish silver, Silver Barbers, and so much more. Please join me, Shawn and Terry as we metal detect 2 yards of old homes and detect many old coins and other treasures.
About Aquachigger:
I like to make videos that promote my lifestyle of outdoor adventure, metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed. I keep my TH-cam "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
I hope to see you guys out there!

Today, we metal detect an old picnic ground and two separate homes. Shawn, Terry, and I had a great time.
The picture in the video may not always match up with the find I am looking at. This is because it is difficult for me to know precisely what coin is in my hand since they have not been cleaned. I did my best to get them to match up. I hope you enjoy tagging along on our little adventure.

Those 2 guys living the dream getting to dig with the chig. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome hunt Chigg and fellas! Congrats one the Reale!
Such nice guys you are hangin’ around with Chigg, excellent video.
Thanks 👍
"The motor blew up in it" (the toy car) ... That's funny! Thanks for the video, Chigg! - Muddypaw 🐾
Big fan The item you asked about in the video I believe is a radiator cap to a Ford 8N tractor. Sorry this is the first time I have contacted you I could have answered questions about a lot of other items in your other videos in the past. This is the first time responding to anything.
Thanks for the id on that. I really do appreciate it.
Hey chigg I'm a novice with a cheap harbor freight metal detector and the first thing I found was a modern Lincoln head penny.
You are hereby addicted. Enjoy!
@@downhomedetectorjeffdowns1878I've been watching Chigg for a few years I'm in Winchester Va.
@downhomedetectorjeffdowns1878 I also have my channel hence my name.
In my view, it is not the treasure that counts, but the quest for the treasure. In the quest for the treasure lies the pleasure!
My technology is superior to yours. I use a Radio Shack with an Energizer battery. Someday gonna get real headphones!
i really like that you show a closeup of the cleaned artifacts. Cleaned with finger nail and nose grease.
Good evening from Syracuse NY brother and everyone thank you for sharing your adventures and Happy Thanksgiving everyone
Thanks for watching, Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
@aquachigger thank you my friends
A coin extravaganza. Very nice episode.
Nice finds! Enjoyed watching.
Another fun day with Beau & Shawn.
As always, brother!
Great finds today!! Thanks Chigg😁👍
I used to buy all my roses from j p. Best rose plants I ever had. I am a detectorist, and I hope to 1 day find a reale. I've been watching you for a lot of years.Keep up the good work. Also, by the way, and el camino is my favorite car.
I haven't seen one in many years. A friend had one back in the day.
My Grandpa always had a Maroon El Camino!
A lot of nice finds!
What a fun day with some good finds.

Awesome day. Thanks.
5th like, love, love your awesome metal detecting adventures, since it's getting cold here, I'm going to wait until spring of next year to go metal detecting
Some nice finds fellas, way to go on the Spanish silver Chigg. That was a cool episode, really enjoyed it, thanks 👍
Jackson Perkins rose tag . Oregon I think. I had to pot alot of those in my youth working a local nursery.
“Real” good ! 👍⭐️
Great place and money pit❤...have a question about digging up cans. A man called Krueger invented 1st beer can 🥫 have you ever found one?
good to see I'm not the only one using a old Whites.
Used one two years ago( eagle spectrum xlt) found a silver with it first time out in over 20 years.... Got me back into detecting again.
awesome content, good vibes , good fellas .
👍👍!! nice silvers !
This video reminded me that there is a spring that comes out of a hill in south central Indiana. Back in the day, at least two generations ago, it fed a small lake. They hauled in sand and made a beach where locale hill people paid to swim and picnic. I was told people hid money in the sand for the kids to find. It needs to be detected if it hasn’t already.
Great hunt
Awesome I couldn't get here fast enough
Amazing that was my brother's favorite saying ❤️
Awesome scores!
Excellent video. Enjoyed as always. Thank you.....!!!
I read "Letters From Lee's Army" and it describes in great detail areas where battles were fought. Looks like some promising areas to hunt!
friken amazeballs awesome finds for everyone loved it
Nice spot to detect. Tons of good coins.
I found one of those RFD locks, which meant free rural delivery. They used them early on to lock up the mail boxes.
One of my first finds was a 30 year sobriety token/coin.
Excellent stuff!
Glad you liked it!
RFD... Rural free delivery, found one few months ago. Assume you're liking the new Garrett? It looks way lighter than the AT series detectors and should undoubtedly perform better being a multi frequency machine. Always fun figuring out the coin tones and IDs on a new machine isn't it. I'd assume that an IHC would id somewhat lower than a wheat cent, closer to a zinc cent as is the case on most 99 tone machines.
That little brass handle at around 14:00 reminds me of the thumb of an old tabletop syrup pourer. My Grandma used to gave them on her dining room table.
One for syrup.
One for honey.
Happy Thanksgiving, Chigg, and other viewers.
J&P is Jackson Perkins, growers of roses and other flowers for over 150 years, only know this from my mother who had a beautiful flower garden. Great stuff as always. 👍🤙
Wow what a chigg injoyed watching I'm headed out tomorrow hope I do half as well
Love watching your vids chigg cheers 🍻 from Tumbarumba N.S.W Australia 🇦🇺
Cheers back at ya!
Awesome Video Chigg just like all of your videos.
Glad you like them!
Great video. Throughly enjoyed it Chigg.
Happy birthday to me Chigg . Can't wait to see you in the rivers digging out a coin spill from the side.. was my first video I watched of yours ..
Nice 1 Real!
The square tag at 25:09 is a ID tag off a Autolite (Ford) carburetor.
'King's Ransom' rose introduced by Jackson & Perkins in 1962.
Looks like a good day. If you get to Michigan. We have a Civil war day in Coldwater .History Buffs. Show up from all over. Heritage Park.
Awesome finds, y'all gotta hit that place again!!!
1900 O is indeed a better date barber dime
The only coin i don't have is a Barbar dime.
21:15
Dude! That is an old AA token, from when they were still affiliated w/the Oxford Group.
Based on first century Christianity (not like today's x-tians) they had 4 absolutes:
Honesty, Purity, Charity, (unselfishness) and Love
Very Cool Find!!
Thanks for the information. I did not know that.
The brass piece looks like a decorative piece for a suitcase or another case
Awesome permission there! Congrats on the real Chigg!
You mentioned that they cant pick their own names. Who picked yours?
Hello there chigg good finds on the coins especially the Indian head pennies because I have a 1905 Indian head penny as well and I see you found a 1944 penny as well because I have two of them as well 👍
Nice, congrat's
I found those same tea tags.
GO CHIGG🇺🇸
Hey. It's Beau Time.
Nice Indian head penny!
Interesting. It's definitely an AA slogan. Printed by the company that makes AA coins. But not an AA coin. Great message for anyone !
That brass piece looks like a very old powder cover for a old muzzle loader
That brass "snap" was the top of a vintage spark plug, often for a Model T
Thanks
Hi there, I'm a new fan! My son actually introduced me to your videos and we're in WV. In case nobody else has made the comment, the JP tags from the roses are from Jackson and Perkins. Those metal tags I imagine are pretty old, but they're still in business. They could probably tell you the approximate date ;)
"RFD" in relation to mail referred to "rural free delivery". my grandma told me about it. it was the post offices 1st program to deliver mail directly to rural recipients. before they would have to go to the post office to pick up their mail. my guess would be that the lock was a postal service lock for a drop box of some kind.
14:16 maybe a latch off off a trunk or suitcase?
great bunch of coin finds!
Thanks for the id's
@@aquachigger youre welcome. thanks for the great content!
The little hinged thing looks like a boot clamp...to close rubber boots.
Hellow chig
hellow
Hello Beau, that could be a lid lever to a beer stein!😊
P.S.: Why don't you have/use a hand spade?
👍👍
at the 18;30 mark its a 1934-5-6 Chevy radiator cap
19:15 😂😂😂😂😂
14:04 looks like a banjo tail piece
Newbie here , hunting a bounty Hunter , in NC so far mostly at the beach , lol lots of bud lite caps , about a dollar in change , one table spoon a couple fish hooks n sinkers a nice set of line cutters , oh and a couple dozen metal tent stakes for pop up shelters . I dig and carry out the trash as I go ,
I’m dying to find a civil war bullet . Only one small battle in our close proximity, ( union county NC ) but I thought I’d try to get a permission or two close by it and maybe get lucky .
Good luck with the search, those are great finds.
@
Lol well, I do use the line cutter every tim I go fishin , it’s good quality stainless , cleaned the minor staining easily With a copper brush.
The item found at 18.51, that looks like an air cleaner cover from a 1930's Harley Davidson.
The second toy car looks like a Lincoln Continental. I think the first one may be a Cadillac.
21:16 Purity, love, freshness. I guess that means don’t get drunk and forget to take a shower?😂
Unselfishness
😀
How bout Mr. Silver for a name for him. Or Hi Ho Silver.
coin spill!
Autolite carburetor tag
So Chigg, were you skipping over the nickel signals or were there just not any out there? Great video, thanks for sharing!!
Yeah, I passed them up because the site was polluted with pull tabs.
@@aquachigger Ah, ok. That makes sense. Thanks for the response! I bet there could be a buffalo or two in there somewhere, maybe a V.
Chigg hey
The autolite tag is for a ford 2 barrel carburetor for vehicles from 1968. That's pretty cool. Wanna sell it?
Thanks for the ID. I don't sell my finds at this time, but maybe one day. Take me digging or get me a permission and you can have it. ;)
that second car is a 1964 Lincoln continental .
Mr. Chigg sir, would you consider selling the AA Token?
THE STRANGE METAL TAG YOU DUG AT THE 25 MINUTE MARK IS OF A FORD CARBURETOR YOU NEED THE NUMBERS A LETTERS O A REBUILDING KIT OR A NEW CARB ITS NOT THAT OLD 1968 FORD
Sir as you would know in the UK we have the king or queen on our coins and so you get an idea in the age if the date is obscure.
Do you have a view if you would prefer the UK system or the US where it is presidents. I recently learned that you have Ragan and Ford on some coins.
I don't really have a preference. I didn't know about Ford and Reagan on coins here. Very well could be though.
@aquachigger Thank you, I learned about Ford etc on a wrist watch channel.
With the recent coronation of Charles we are slowly getting new coins and notes. Although with King Charles I am expecting an image of a spaniel.
All the best.
What was that thing with the stickers on it that's size of a walnut.
Not 1st!
Chigg, I would like to get into metal detecting any recommendations for a cheap first metal detector
Looks like a knurled thumb nut at 9:30.
