Good ahead and sign that whistle pig over to me! I'm going to win that sucker, and give it to my son as a first vehicle. I'm going to drive that creampuff all the way back to Florida!

The 35 Ford just needed the Mortske touch and some electrical changes and it came to life like it was from the showroom . If you wern"t driving a shoebox or a 51 in black primer you were nobody . I'm 79 and it took todays presentation to bring back a flood of memories. Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year will unfold for all Mortske followers . Stuart in Canada..
Somebody's high school ride with A lot of good advice. Judging from the modifications, I would estimate the time they were done was between 1950 and 1955. The age of the car then would make it prime for that use. Amazing it survived that well. The Term " Jalopy " was still in common use then. Cheers Mr. Mortske.
Gotta love Monday's with Mortske. Neat to see that old flathead run, ford did it right on the old coupes. I hope you and Duff have a super holiday. Great videos as always.
At Mortske Classic Auto Rehab, our compassion is our practice! From the initial surgery, all the way through the long road of physical therapy... I'm impressed by the use of the classic wrecker and the open road. Most "car doctors" use a treadmill and maybe a little TV with a video of the road. Loved the video! Great editing btw!
I once towed a 1965 Plymouth Fury I bought out of a barn twelve miles home. The guy in the back put it in drive and had the key on. At mile ten it started.
MORTSKE MONDAY!!! Yea buddy! I’m so stoked to watch this once I’m done with work! I’m sure it will be a kick ass video, as always! Keep up the great work Mortske, we greatly appreciate your entertainment. Happy holidays as well!
Wow, I learnt so much about flatheads in your vid! Thanks Mortske. I’m watching this on Xmas Eve here in Australia and it’s the best present I could ask for. Thanks Mortske and I really hope you, your family Chin, Mojo and most all Duff have a great Holiday and New Years. 👍👍
Mortske, thank you for Monday's terrific lesson on how to start an old flathead. You're so doggone smart pulling the car 10 miles to warm up and reseat all the innards. Really appreciate your thorough and clear lesson on the quirky distributors and spark plugs. And, I am in complete agreement about how great Ford flatheads sound and run when you get the carburettor working right. You really are one of the very best car channels. Merry Christmas and God bless you! with kind regards, Blaine Halley, Santa Cruz, CA.

Good afternoon Mort, Great video . I love all the info on different Carbs and distributors . That flathead is very cool, I always like the way they sound. I rebuilt one a long time ago ,out of a 50 shoe box ford. I would love to win the truck. Have a good week and Holiday.

Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ I found it very interesting listening to you explain about the different carburetors and distributors for that Flathead. Dragging around the car definitely got some heat in the engine and she started right up 👍 I enjoy watching you in sepia at the end of the video. Merry Christmas to all of you there at Mortske Repair🎄✌️🇺🇲
Workshop full of old Fords , mostly.... Unknown amount of Ford Grills hanging from the Rafters... Good to see you're not a fan of Fords.... Really.... All the best.... Thanks for the Entertainment..... 😎👍
I enjoy all your videos, but the little sidebar tutorials on the distributors and carbs for the old fords was especially interesting and informative. History is fun!
That Ford has the classic look, and you shared a great deal of knowledge and mechanical abilities. In all honesty, it takes a great deal amount of money to fully restore these old cars.
Good old Ditch Dog Duff. Keeping dad's back seat just the way he likes, too!! Later thought: have there ever been this many Mortske Minutes in a single video before? And has the distributor minute taken the title as the longest Mortske Minute EVER? Not complaining, as it was all good stuff. Knew there were a LOT of differences. It seems Ford never wanted to settle on any one design for more than two or three years, even to this day.
I just love these old ford flatheads ,seems that you and Brent really are the info on these beauties.Wishing you, Duff ,Mojo, Chin and all the subscribers a Merry Christmas and great New year too . 👍👍
how the hell did i never think of the "drag" method. Pull starting yes, but dragging it to clean her out? That would have come in handy a bunch of times.
Another pre-war brought to life with perseverance - thanks for the ignition and carb segments. Merry darn Christmas to you, Chin, Mojo and Duff, and thanks for the gift of your time and knowledge.
Hello Mortske, Chin, MoJo and the Star of the show Duff. You got it warmed up and saved a starter. Don't tell Puddin. It was good to hear you used 3rd gear for low RPM. On engine. Brought back memories from the 70's we used 1st gear, the tow vehicle was an old Massey Harris tractor. Probably only managed 2 miles per hr. Still it got the job done and as a younger fella just learning it was a lot of fun. Merry Christmas to you all and make sure Duff has a little something special on the 25th. He has made Santa's nice list. Looking forward to 2025 and more shenagins from all of you.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family Mortske. Amazon tells me the present I ordered for ya for entertaining me on Mondays will be late. Even though I ordered it three weeks ago. Cheers Buddy 🍺🤛😎👍
Merry Christmas to you, Duff, Chin and Mojo. I definitley learned a bunch about flatheads this epsiode. I'll have to grab so more merch to get a chance at the truck that sent you jail. That story will live on forever!
your story of the wheel coming off reminds me of driving from liverpool to nthe south of france to renovate a farmhouse. we got the vw transporter tested paid for new rear brakes . setts off heading south all was ok for about 100 miles when the revs went right up . i was in the middle lane of the M1 motorway i got to the hard shouler and just before stpping there was a big bang. tp cut a long story short the macanics had put one nut on to get it off the ramps . we where lucky we got taken back to the garage in liverpool on arriving the machanics where all outside singing three wheels on my wagon and i am still rolling along. Three hours later the back axel and springs where all replaced and we where back on the road to france .
Would have been fun to go for a ride in this one! A little love and she could be a real head turner! Great job gettin the old flat head running! I’m with Duff, going for a ride in Bernie is the best! Hey, Great video and ride, thanks! Hope your Christmas & New Years were good ones!
A lot of people think that running a 6 volt starter on 12 volts is hard on starters. I'm not one of them.
