I got a bleach case not sure if I’ll get one or two Hunter boxes but for sure super excited to see how the cards look! That’s cool that they’re doing decks for each series hopefully it’ll be a easy way for people to get into it best of luck if you do open any boxes!
Weiss Schwarz really feels like a card game for rich people, who always buy full cases. If you just buy single boxes, you easily get screwed... i hope Union Arena has no guarenteed case hits
Yeah it really does and it just encourages stores to do pretty scummy practices so a lot of them I’m guessing will take advantage of buyers just sucks all around really hope it doesn’t turn into Weiss and it’s more so like their other games
Coming from someone who casually plays Weiss and other games. I feel like if you are a collector you are buying a case. If you are a player then loose boxes don’t matter because you are still going to get your 4-5 supers per box which I think will actually be better than the Weiss equivalent of RR cards. RR cards don’t feel special to pull but the union arena supers still look nice.
@@raiden225005I agree if you’re a player if anything the dead boxes might be better since it drives prices down usually lol since I think the highest rarity for any card over at Weiss is RR right? And yeah definitely nowhere near as exciting to pull RRs I haven’t seen Union arena cards yet but looking forward to bleach already got that case locked down
Do you know what the price for the English box sets are? I see one site selling the English HxH box for $80 but idk if they are charging more than normal. I was expecting them to be around $30-60
The case configurations are different because the sets are smaller. The comparison to Weiss is irrelevant because you can make the same exact comments to any other Bandai game - you open the Manga in OPTCG and you sell the other boxes. This is also true in other games like Shadowverse Evolve. In UA you are still guaranteed a 1* per box which makes boxes still very exciting to open in JP. For NA due to the larger pack sizes we might even see double 1* per box
I agree to some extent but disagree since mangas aren’t guaranteed per case in OP while signature cards and in Weiss are so stores can knowingly crack cases knowing that and also with the hype OP has stores don’t really have as much an incentive to open them and rip people off as much when market is so insane and they sell out immediately while at (rarely) or above MSRP at market prices Weiss doesn’t it’s usually around or under MSRP so it gives more motivations for stores to do more stuff like that which is why no one recommends buying from tcgplayer for Weiss but again we’ll see im more than happy to be wrong in this case to be honest haha and im still very excited I got a bleach case secured already
@@KozmicPlays got you I wasn’t aware of the pull rates from JP but that’s nice then hopefully it should be like other Bandai games then too how are you feeling about its potential? Do you know if it’s doing well in JP?
@@GarfieldTCG The game had one of the worst launches in JP we've seen for TCGs, but fast forward to them celebrating the 1 year anniversary and now we have sold out sets and attendance has spiked. In Japan I'd say overall its in a much better spot now and has 100% recovered For NA launch, its honestly a lot harder to say. I run demo events for a lot of local shops and what I've heard so far on feedback is that the game is difficult to pick up at first but people really enjoy it once they get past the learning curve
Weiss has been going for 15 years in Japan, a little more than a couple. Bandai changes the number of boxes per case and you assume they're mimicking Bushiroad's entire setup? You seem pretty uneducated on the topic and are jumping to a lot of conclusions.
Hey there thanks for watching I missed this comment since it was made later was checking some of the older comments I hadn’t responded to and yeah that’s way longer than I thought that was my mistake. More so what I meant as I look at it as “Weiss 2.0” it’s to do with not just the configuration change but like I also talked about later in the video the much faster releases pretty much each month (none of the other Bandai games release this fast from my understand union arena does just like Weiss), and the much more collector leaning vs their other games the configuration change is what made me curious to look more into it in the first place. From the info I had seen before doing the video that’s what I was able to find out it could be wrong of course and if I am then that’s on me my bad for any mistake I’ll correct them when I do the opening for Bleach TYBW.
Just got the demo decks. Pretty excited to collect this game 😄

That’s msrp but you should be able to find them a bit cheaper I got my bleach case for I think it came out to 53$ each

@@GarfieldTCG you don’t get a 3* in every UA case either, like OPTCG magna’s
