This is awesome, will look at doing this. Had a really strange high pitch whirring when riding my SR250 for the first time in nearly 2 years last night, followed by the needle snapping and bouncing around - from what I've read online, the speedo cable was likely needing grease, or wasn't plugged in properly.. So I'm gonna need to do some tinkering. Might look at buying a new tacho- any recommendations? Then next on my list is one of these! What a great little kit! Love your work bro!
Thanks man! Sometimes the speedo and tach drive cables can break somewhere along their length as well - so make sure you inspect that too. Lots of cool tachs available online - maybe start by looking at dime city cycles then pick up some brand names and continue your online search. Motogadget are class leaders - really nice stuff if you got the money!
