Yeah the sleep pad was way too thick for that bivi, as it made it really tight inside there. So didn’t sleep much in the end but still enjoyed it. Thanks
Never weighed it, I say it’s lighter because the top part is a waterproof nylon rather like a commercial tent flysheet, than all goretex like the mk1. Probably isn’t much difference in weight, more likely just money saving knowing the British army.
And I thought I paid too much at £80 2 years ago. That’s the trouble, any mention of “special forces “ or SAS people go crazy. Wasn’t even a successful item for the army as they quickly scrapped them for regular bivvy bags.
I have the MK1 version and I found it surprisingly good!
Cool micro tent. Useful in emergency situations!
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Nice looking bivy thanks
I'd cover the tops with piles of leaves just to the point of no rustle to add more camo.
Great for those stealthy camps etc
As you say certainly looks a little tight to get in
5 star body bag 😂 not the most pleasurable camp experience, but does the job👍🏻
Definitely on my list. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Yes it’s a great bit of kit to have in your collection 👍🏻
Great MicroTent .
Thx

Lighter than the original type 1 camo you say. How heavy is this one

Oh I totally understand you there, definitely not a pleasure to spend the night in. 👍

They cost a small fortune seen them going for £300+

Your probably find better sleeping with the mattress on the outside
