Thanks for the review, I just ordered this and some 64GB 3200 ram and a 2TB harddrive. I actually ordered it because of the design, it’s different than all the rest of the mini pcs and from the 4 star reviews and the good TH-cam reviews hard to turn down.
Great review. Really covers a wide range of uses. I hope they improve their software support and it is great to see there are two m.2 ports. (The look is pretty refreshing to me after all the recent bland bricks. I hope more companies run with a screw less side panel too).
This is my exact PC!!!! It runs great for me and even with max graphics it still did super great! The thing is that it gets very loud when you let the display sleep and not the actual machine sleep (using max graphics). (I thought I might add on to this review)
I got one of these and I'm having the toughest time with my mouse. Bluetooth and one that uses a radio dongle. The bluetooth mouse scrolls up before it scrolls down and the one that uses a dongle isn't accurate finding what I am trying to click on. Any tips or ideas?
Ace Magician Support has been very helpful with my issues and have provided a new BIOS update. If you have any issues with your unit, be sure to get in touch with them. www.acemagicians.com/
Download the RGB app here www.acemagicians.com/Index/index/download/ and run it as administrator. It doesn't fully save the settings so on next Windows restart you'll have to do it again. Maybe ask Ace Magician support if they can fix it.
Awesome review thank you tor the drivers Rob where would we be without you. Any chance you got the bluetooth adapter working? I cant seem to get anything connected been playin around with drivers all weekend
Don't have the unit anymore as I can't afford to hold onto them for long. But I don't remember there being an issue with Bluetooth. You might want to hit up Ace Magician support for help. www.acemagicians.com/
Haven't been interested in cases for yonks, but I had a quick look and the M-atx choice was still poor. The Silverstone Fara H1M was the only interesting one for low end. The Fractal Design Meshify C for high end. Look for one with a mesh front panel and other features you need. See if anyone gave it a decent review.
Excellent review Rob. I would like to note that Intel's 3Dmark scores are sus, as they have admitted to "optimizing for time spy and port royal" Consequently, many are doubtful any of their 3Dmark scores with recent drivers, can be trusted.
Ah thanks for letting me know. That's a disappointing practice. The NUC results were from launch (so about a year ago) but maybe it was already happening back then.
It’s gunna give out in 5-6months. These things aren’t reliable. Had to replace mine twice until I just told them to refund me. What a waste. Just save for a legit desktop
You will once evaluate the other pc of this brand the ace magiciam TK 11 A0 that has a processor like the Intel nuc but has better performance in this one uses the i5 Tiger Lake 1135G7
At the same wattage yes. The 5600U would beat the NUC if both at 15W as an example. But the Intel NUCs use more power (28W base instead of 25W limit on this unit). You could say the NUC is "Cheating" by using a lot more power to get its performance.
Please Review Asus PN41 (N4500 & 5100) and MSI Cubi Series. Also, Kindly Include the Experience While Using Different OS (Windows, Linux, Chrome OS Flex, Volumio, etc.) on these Mini PCs. P.S. Not Everyone is Willing to Import a Chinese Mini PC Due to High Cost and Warranty. Sometimes Only the Mainstream Intel NUCs or Asus PN Series or MSI Cubi Series Mini PCs are Available in a Specific Market. Just My Two Cents. Keep Up the Good Work.
Unless they drop their price here in Aus I won't review them. They're both much more expensive than NUC 11 Essential and are worse units based on their history (I've owned a few PN's and Cubis over the years). They need to be cheaper than Intel's unit to be competitive. I'll see if I can come up with a way to include the other OS's. This video took a lot of time to make

Yep, the X300 is hard to beat for the price. It's only downfall is the lack of USB ports. All the U processor minis are soldered with their smaller size being the unique selling point. Also, the X300 is DIY, so the U minis appeal to those that want a complete pre-built unit with Windows installed.
@@Robtech Appreciate your response, thanks for the validation, glad you agree. Low cost entry level minecraft capable gamer x 2 for some twins, with the possibility of going full desktop with the CPU and a donor GPU at some point makes sense to me. The other two kids are on am4 3100 and my old 980ti's and starting to ask those 'FPS' questions....
Unfortunately, Amazon will get this one back. I cannot resolve the pointer issues it has. It's otherwise a very nice system. Hard to believe the amount of power it has in such a small form factor.
Honestly, the design is one of my favorite aspects of this computer.
Mine too❤

Yeah I'm intrigued by the design enough that I found this video searching for it
I think it can only handle up to 32gb of rqm
Do you know what size fan is used in this?

4:30 Did they fix this? I don't see any pinned comment with any info relating to this topic and i got curious =,]
Why do you think it is ugly? I love that design. Not a fan of RGB though.
I like the design maybe I'm just weird
Have you seen the MSi Trident 3 and the MSi Trident Mag 5M? Im considering between these 3 pcs to run my arcade with a 16tb hyperspin drive

Hi mate could you recommend a case for matx system. GPU 3080 with 12600k. Cant find any decent matx case

Would you mind telling me the fan used in this ? Like the dimensions please. My guess is 90mm?
Don't have this unit anymore, sorry. Might be best to ask Ace Magician directly.
So problems haven't been fixed yet?

I just bought the Ryzen 7-5800U version off of Amazon. I hope this would be a beast considering I only paid AU$389.

Nice vedio❤ )but what ram i can put in and hard drive
DDR4 SODIMM and M.2 NVME
Also what Ram is needed for a mini PC like what is the max mhz it can support
DDR4 SODIMM 3200MHz
Thank you so much my friend is looking to buy a new console but really wants a pc so this is perfect
@@LeeeroiJenkins I just ordered one of these over a PS5, hoping it can handle Minecraft better than my PS4.
Can you show the wi-fi card being upgraded to Intel Ax210?
So what exactly is the SSD type
M.2 NVME Gen3
I wish someone would do some premiere rendering on this 🤷🏿

Yep
At 6:02 why is the iGPU performance so low? I thought NUC 11 was really close to the 5500U but the 5600U looks way worse

Hi I have the same computer and it went into sleep mode and it won't turn back on anymore I've tried everything please help
Remove power completely and wait for 10 minutes before plugging in. If that doesn't work. Contact support.
