    My father told me, "honor, at times can be the heaviest burden a man can bear but a man must not shed it, even if it leads to his death." I was so lucky to have him as my dad.

      Also love the music and the calming effect the quality of the sound has even when the Masters speak. Love all they way from South Africa.

    Well, you got it wrong right out of the shute. The Ronin who survived was not the 16 year old son but rather the one who was sent to Ako to report that Kira was dead. He was pardoned by the Shogun and lived to be 87.

      Agreed; this is pointed out in this depiction of the story. I thought this movie was going to be drawn out and a bit tedious but it was compelling watching right to the end.

    I don't quite understand why the 46 Ronins were castaway if their master committed suicide can someone explain please?

    • @Boosuf
      @Boosuf ปีที่แล้ว

      The story was that they were samurai, operating under their master. When their master lashed out and was ordered to commit suicide, these samurai were then made into ronins. Ronins means leaderless samurai. they couldn't be hired by anyone else as that wasn't viable either economically or culturally. Therefore they were forced to live a life as Ronins.

    This is a glorified version of the historical incidents which have many unclear things, like nobody knows why Asano attacked Kira for sure.

    • @Changemymind1
      @Changemymind1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is always this one guy☝️smh😂 Being unclear excalty why it happened. DOESN'T make it glorified.
