transformers G1 commemorative series automotive Jazz action figure unboxing

this is a G1 Jazz autobot from the transformers commemorative series 3.
jazz is one of my favorite g1 transformers I had the original all those years ago an i had to pick this one up at a place called Toys r us .......don't know if you have heard of that ?
I real like the new transformers earthrise and siege figures an I hope we get a jazz after all he is a legend !

Wow! I got this commemorative series Jazz years ago also in Toys r Us. The reason Hot Rob is called Rodimus Major back then was because Hasbro didn’t have the rights to call him ‘Hot Rod’ If I remember it right. Is a long time ago now! XD I want to get the new Studio Series 86 movie Jazz at some point.

I know this is an old video but my theory is to make it not confusing cause transformers energon had a rodimus prime too, that or licensing

I don't know if you paid attention or not, the re-release of Jazz has a different face compared to the original. Yesterday I wanted to buy the same reissue, but I didn’t because it seemed that the face was not the same as the original. I hoped that the re-release would be like the original, but there are still some minor differences. Please write what you think about this.

I think the original figure they used for Jazz had a different face from the one hasbro used. The transformers figures were made up from a few different Japanese toy lines that were made into the one line so when they did that they changed bits.
