Your amazing family. I am disabled and can't leave the house very often. I so much enjoy watching you and your family. You take me right there with your shows. Love to you and your family.
Hello from Lima, Ohio, USA, Planet Earth, The Milky Way! Hello, Mark! I'm a recent subscriber to your channel - "recent", as in yesterday. Thanks for sharing your videos. The locations you visit are so beautiful and you provide a world of information to me. I learn something new each time I watch your videos. Lately I've been keeping up with videos about the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, etc., etc. and, man, are they depressing! I find your videos really upbeat and full of smiles and giggles. The food that you eat look so amazingly yummy! You have a beautiful family and I envy you for having the opportunity to travel to all these awesome places. I was born in Thailand, but came to the states when I was seven years old. I am now 58. One day, I hope to travel back to my homeland when the world is less angry and toxic. But, for now, I will see the world through your eyes. Thank you for sharing your videos with me. You and your beautiful family take care and stay safe!
Amazing video Mark. We need more places like this in North America. We have become so disconnected from our food sources. I love your focus on slow food, farm to table, using local and seasonal ingredients.
That was incredible! The respect of the soil and the plants along with what the nutrition means to us as consumers. Everything must have been just bursting with flavor. Thanks Mark for a fun journey
Thank you so much Connie, yes all the vegetables were sweeter and fresher, really like the full potential of how they should taste, packed with nutrients!
Mark I love how educational the Big on Spice channel is, thank you for imparting so much food knowledge in these videos. Thailand is breathtakingly beautiful!!. Safe travels and God Bless you and your family.
Hey Mark how's u bro, I just watch ur Thailand series and noticed that ur Indian food content in Thailand earned lots of views instead of others ones, by the way I love to ur videos. Good luck luv from India 🇮🇳
AS I SAID BEFORE, I sincerely appreciate your video's, Mark. They are so clean and safe and so capturing. Truly educational, and for some reason we never ever get tired of them no matter how old they get, - and we keep anticipating the next new one. THANK YOU THE MOST VALUABLE to me is that you never use any language that is uncomfortable.
Wow, what a great experience! Thank you Mark for taking the time to promote authentic farm to table (and pharm to table)! I love this business model. I'm so glad you took the time to speak to the proprietor to learn about their operations and specific ingredients they feature, especially the bit about the coriander flower and pollen!
I love how polite he is, the mixed beans tasted of very little so he added the chillie dip and lemon to spice it up. Looks amazing and healthy. Would love this place.
Two thumbs up for popping that little pepper in your mouth! Thank you for this beautiful content and highlighting the farm to table experience and difference. I love farm to table, living in Michigan we can only get it a couple months a year but the taste is astronomically better then transported produce.
I love this channel! I just found out about it when you mentioned it on your other channel. So nice to see all the natural environment. I can't believe you ate that ghost pepper your heat tolerance must be high😳
Mark you are a food angel. I was a big fan of Anthony Bourdain RIH & you have taken his place for me. You both always enjoy just eating with regular people not always in a fancy restaurant. God bless you & your family
Excellent vlog once again, gorgeous fresh produce yes. I especially loved the concept of the Pharm, so true and needed, if only more people would buy into this idea. 🙏
I love ghost peppers! I love your content and your awesome travels Mark! Show me the spicy!!!! God bless you and your family! Showing love from Round Rock, TX. Pray for us because we just had tornadoes to hit Central Texas yesterday and lost power for almost 3 hours!
Been watching you for years now... I've been waiting for this moment... so soo.. satisfying. "If its not spicey.. I'm not eating" well done Mr. Wiens! Next we need to see you on "Hot Ones"
‘Big on Chile’ Because of you, I double my Chile all over my food. As I’m crying sometimes I say I don’t know how Mark keeps his cool 😎. The food source on this video simply differently amazing. Hat 🎩 also looked good. 🌶
It is vitally important that we can continue to say, with absolute conviction, that organic farming delivers the highest quality, best-tasting food, produced without artificial chemicals or genetic modification, and with respect for animal welfare and the environment, while helping to maintain the landscape and rural communities. Happy hungry! Cheers, Domenico.
Mark I wanted to say ty for visiting States.. keep up the great videos.. & wish we had farms like this in states .. luv & blessings to you & your beautiful family!!! Buddha bless 🙏🏽❤️✨💐🙏🏽
Mark! You’ve done it again! This place looks AWESOME and I can not wait to visit Thailand 🙏🏽 I felt for you when yo ate the ghost chili though.. 😂😂 That looked hot.. I’m surprised it didn’t smell hot too… I loved it when your son said..”Daddy I want to try it!” - train up a child ✨🙏🏽✨ Thanks for providing this video vacation for me ✨❤️✨
Hey Mark weins 👋 I just enjoy watching your videos. Been watching them for a long time!! Love the places and food u show! Ur an awesome humble guy. God bless 🙌
Mark, this channel is a gem! Not because it is vegan oriented, but because you are making an effort to show the alternatives to intensive food production. We need someone with your reach to showcase and highlight these kind of initiatives.
we learn eten spicy in Thailand 22 years ago...no we cultivate peppers from differents country as hobby....you need to be patient to grow them in NL (warm season is very short or sometimes , never comes!).;-)
I really like your videos and how you talk about the food and the places that raise it and organic and fresh I see your son is with you how old is he I'm glad to see that you are able to take him wherever you go cuz life is experience is just as important as school education is too he knows his world and yours that's so cool
Hi Mark, another great video. The chilli looks like scotch bonnet to me. The skin is smooth. Ghost peppers have little bumps. May be the ones grown in Thailand is different.
Ty Mark for another amazing 🎥 so healthy while we stuff our faces with mcdonald and Burger King 😭 Micah is getting so big and Ying is so helpful. Finally I know how to get the T Shirts boy it took me months very beautiful place until next 🕙 🇨🇺
The food looks fantastic and fresh as you would expect. Alarming amount of packaging though. Is it designed to be taken away? Or is that the way it's always served and do they get composted? What a great project I wish them success.
Exactly what I was thinking, I did notice though, one of the plates had printed on it 'ARO Environmental Friendly Packaging', so hopefully it's all compostable; but if you're eating in, why not just have regular plates, cutlery etc.
Your editors had fun having a field day editing the farmer's speech, most likely while rolling in laughter or perhaps laughing until they fell apart, if you are unaware of the subtle references.
Awesome Mark you are in paradise of Chiangmai I love spicy foods Hey Mark always bring your favorite chopsticks 😂 Thank you for sharing sir Have fun in Thailand สวัสดีค่ะ
It wasn't very hot because it's not getting the direct hit of scorching sunlight. I doubt if it was actually a pure ghost pepper. Every part of a ghost pepper is hot - including the skin - not just the seeds. And you will feel the heat in your nose even before you eat it. The smell is scary. I grow ghost peppers myself. I am in Kolkata now but I was born and raised in Assam. I KNOW you don't need to eat a whole ghost pepper to feel the pain. And it's not just in your mouth. The ears, neck, throat, tummy.... I hope you get to try a real good one someday.
Hey mark! I watched your episode in Darjeeling. How did you find the round chillies ( which we call dalle khorsani) you ate there? It is not popular but it has to be one of the hottest/spiciest 🌶️.
@@BigOnSpiceMarkWiens Well I am a chilly loving person just like you. Your videos have shown how reach the Thai culture is. I will visit Thailand some day and go to your recommended places for vegetarian meals.
You are crazy we grew them not knowing how hot they were because I love vegetables but I swear I could not breathe. I can’t believe you ate the whole pepper🥰
I’ve always loved this concept but here in Australia it’s very expensive. I don’t know why if they don’t have to transport or buy the veggies 🥦 anywhere as we are paying for the trend here of them to farm the land. Great farming idea strategy to sell each part of the land space to people to earn an income, love it. Why wasn’t the food cooked there, but came in containers? I would love to see a mix of farm to table with meat, vegetarian is healthy but prefer to see meat.
This was so refreshing to see organic farm and i am very happy that you made this content. Another area that I hope you do more content is in cooking oil, most cooking oil are toxics and the only oil that are good for cooking are coconut oil extra virgin olive oil, and avocado oil, hope you make more content in this area!
Your amazing family.
