  • Jon and I get together in the studio on sunday nights trying to find interesting subjects. and lo and behold Answers in the Air came to Mind. This is a song I wrote as if Bob Dylan might have written it. We all live in an ocean of air.

This song is magical in several different ways. What makes it work for me is that it sounds as if I've heard this song before, but I've never heard the song before. Beautiful presentation of lyrics, too.

great to see you are still going. love it. also truely love dylan´s songwriting even though I was a baby when he wrote most of his best songs. wonder which dylan songs would make your top 3 or 5, it´s hard to pick.

@@johnwinntheoldtroubadour I´m with you on the first 2 for sure. & your version with the double mention of hungry women won me over on that one, haha. I am in méxico, so I am an innocent eye witness.

    Hi John...
I watched a few times as soon as I saw you had posted it. You really said a mouthful here. I wonder if you could post the lyrics in the comments if you have them handy otherwise I will type them out. Maybe Im over complicating things but I think I need to look at this from different angles. I may have the moving quatrain blues.
    Half an hour......... AMAZING

As ever, I thank you for your keen observations. My dear friend "Terri Thal" who was Bobby's first manager regards this as one of my best. It was as if the hike, mountain wild flowers, the haunting guitar, the melody,, my voice, clear diction, and the "concept" all came together like colors on a painters pallet. "When I needed a rhyme at the end of a line, there was no need to search, it was already there." The sentence I just wrote is in itself a good example of my muse in action. I always look forward to your well written "comments." I've just written a new song titled "Tucumcari Wind" that chronicles one of my first trips on "the road" as a young troubadour. Look for it soon. My website, WWW.johnwinnmusic.com has all my contact info .If you could send me an email address it would be better way to send lyrics. JRW.
