I would love to see a 1982 Mustang GT, stock, on the dyno. Obviously not a rusted turd with 250k miles or whatever, but one that's a magnificent original example with a healthy motor, or a restored one that's to factory spec. Based on all of the times it ran back in the day, it was clearly underrated at 157 horse/240 torque. Always wanted to see just what it truly made from Ford.

Find a saleen anything and dyno it or 99-00 cobra R.
They only made a 2000 r there was no 99 version. There was also a 93 and 95 but the one you're referring to was 2000 only.

Man, you guys have really went downhill over the last year or so. Don't bother stocking anything anymore. I don't even see how you still operate. Damn shame because LMR was the best around for fox body parts.
It seems like it but it’s the suppliers due to COVID getting behind and not able to produce as many parts as before I thought the same thing until you look at it from that view.

WOW! I have a friend who has a 2009 GT 500 KR with 3200 miles on it for sale!! He was telling me how it was a collector car .. I thought he was bullshi##ing me!!!

Gen 3 Coyote swapped old Ford with the 10r80
It would basically dyno what a new 10r80 gt dynos lol. Only thing that would be different would be if you ran a solid axle out back it might loose a little less through the driveline but basically the same.

I’m not super familiar with these GT500s but didn’t they end up making 650hp in this body style by the end?? I seem to remember them going from 550 at the crank to mid 600s by the end but perhaps you guys know better
13-14's had a 5.8/2.3 TVS supercharger(662 hp) vs the 5.4/M112 Roots blower on the 2007-2012s. (500-550 through the years)
No the KRs were 540hp.The base super snake for 07 was rated 605hp but they were more like 650hp.I know I happen to have a 07 427 edition convertible super and my 10 900hp grabber blue super snake.
@@anthonylaudano9751 he's talking about the end of the s197 platform which they did get to 662 hp mostly because of the better blower but they had but they did have a slightly larger engine too etc. They're all similar once running the same blower and supporting mods 07-14.

@@anthonylaudano9751 the kr wasn't anything special far as power plant they had an intake and tune basically and were rated 540 hp vs 500 horse in the regular gt500. The 2010 model basically carried over what the kr had hence the 540 horse rating. The super snakes were just factory modified by shelby gt500s with blower upgrades among other things. The 11-12 went from the 540 horse the 2010s had (just like the earlier krs) to 550 horse then moved up to 662 for the 13-14, just like op was talking about in his original post.
