I like the idea of immortality in the backrooms, that you actually can't die or be injured get tired or hungry but the worst fate is being lost forever within its construct. There was one backrooms video that depicted a person being attacked by an entity and instead of it killing him, it transported him to an entirely different place in the backrooms, this is far more concurrent with what I would expect from a non-euclidean space that is rife with anomalous phenomena.
You are not lost. You can also make friends in the backrooms. I like the idea of having an ancient greek and medieval long bow archers and british naval officers/admirals/sailors and napoleonic soldiers and victorian era smart british "sir" and hyper futuristic dudes as friends. All of this is possible because time doesn't exist in the backrooms, people from different timelines can no clip into the backrooms. And also there are people of the of the opposite gender.....
How to teleport to Cygnus Archive when in danger, let's go back in time. Step 1: Ask Blanche if you can have some books to carry on to your journey Step 2: If she says yes(which is most likely), then you now have the books Step 3: Now if you are ever attacked by something, just swip Blanche's signature and spawn to Cygnus Archine
1) Books are one-time use. Once you use them, they go back to their place on the shelf. 2) Blanche rarely gives more than one book to guests. She's still a librarian, and still cares about people returning her books...

She technically _can_ send you back to the Frontrooms, the catch is that she won't know exactly where you end up being, so she avoids sending Wanderers into the Frontrooms because they can very likely end up in the vacuum of space.
One small problem: 3999 is a fandom-only level, and Blanche only exists on the Backrooms Wikidot. Both sites have their own versions of the Backrooms, meaning the version of the Backrooms where Blanche exists does not have 3999, and vice-versa. However, you're free to imagine crossovers if you want.
backrooms speedrun: Find a book with Blanche's signature on it, run your index finger from left to right across it. Enter Level 906. Request to Blanche you want to goto level 3999 (or any level you know for certain that can take you out of the backrooms.)

A good video to watch for a bit more of an understanding of liminal spaces is "How I becamr a liminal space photographer" by AlfaOxtrot the video isn't very serious but the very end of the video has a small speech describing what the creator of the video's interpretation of what a liminal space is to him
Liminal spaces are something that look vaguely familiar, like the pool rooms, everyone will have a little deja Vu cos most swimming pools are tiled that way, underground carparks and shopping centres all look a little similar so will remind you of places from home. Or a liminal space is just a hallway or corridor, serving that is architecturely between 2 spaces but not significant (a hall between two or more rooms) or something you move through to get to somewhere else(again like a hall or corridor)some people feel uncomfortable in these types of places because of the deja Vu feeling, they know they haven't been here before, so don't understand why it seems familiar, is the reason for the discomfort I think. A lot of backrooms levels play on this like the pool rooms and underground carparks level, even the original pic seemed familiar because it was 80s cheap wallpaper and a lot of people had seen some similar to it in their past. I'm not the best at explaining things and often go with real long winded explanations, sorry about that
So technically Blanche can take you to the backrooms version of Heaven, then you escape out of the door you will eventually come across and return to reality like it was all just a dream

For the record, I have no experience with German at all, and came up with the Von Haderach surname as a cheeky little reference to Frank Herbert's Dune (the Kwisatz Haderach, to be precise.) Still, really nice to learn about this!
