Istanbul Mehmet new Legend Dry cymbal series could suffice with just one drum kit at the 2019 NAMM Show. A beautiful drum kit made by A&F Drum Co. and played by Istanbul Mehmet-artist Rick Latham. Bulent Akbay shows and demoes the four new cymbals of the Legend Dry series, and we added Rick Latham's drum solo as well in the video.

I have many Istanbul Mehmet and Agop cymbals, mostly Mehmet, but I have found my sound with the Mehmet Legend dry. I have the 22 ride 20 crash ride and 18 crash. Next on my list are the hats. I love the controlled sound , that opens up when I lay into them.

I enjoy how crisp the 22in is, but I've been through a handful of Istanbul demos now and I have to say it pains me that no one will crack the shaft of the stick across the top third of the cymbal. Your ride is my crash, please Crash My Ride.
