Another great conversation. Have a blessed time in Kemet, Dr. Carr. Prof, as a sister proud of wearing my own natural hair (30 year old dreads) I can't help but say how cool it's been to see you wearing your beautiful crown!! Wear your coils with pride x0x0x0x

This final week of July is Homecoming in Nicodemus Kansas. My ancestors 5 generations ago sojourned here from Kentucky in 1877. They founded a town. It took 12 years following Enslavement to earn the $5 per person for the train tickets to Ellis Kansas. They then walked all 350 of them 40 miles to Nicodemus. They responded to the call for Blacks to come and homestead land. The only All Black town founded during reconstruction west of the Mississippi still in existence. ❤

Thank you for highlighting how that helped to not only open your proverbial eye, but instilled a militancy of your mind!👏🏾👏🏾
It's hot but no beach for me.
Dr. Carr, you've given me a new perspective and hearing your take on the Ocean will forever influence how I see the Atlantic/Pacific Oceans!!
Prof. Hunter and Dr. Carr, you're so very important to us!

Collective learning ✔️ Last semester, my two in-person classes took both the midterm & the final (essay exams) in groups. I did it primarily to avoid the impossible task of grading 100+ papers by grade-submission deadlines 😬. I found that the results were better than individual essays; many students enjoyed being able to discuss ideas with their teammates to create a collective essay. ✊🏾

Have you guys given thought to the museum of commentarie that would be both of you guys home , that would have two enormous wings on opposite sides of central hub ,liviging area complete withe dinning area meeting area , but most all where you two could meet when you wanted company when along you no! And well the two wins ,one is yours and one is his these wings are all about your selfs , you own big glass doors with the names of your profession or business and what the public will come visite , and so that would in clude your own living space there to. Ruff draft but do you get the idear.
