Honorable mention for the NXT Women's championship for me is Becky Lynch vs Lyra Valkyria at Halloween Havoc this year. It has one of the best near falls in recent years and is the second most emotional title change of 2023, right behind the tag title main event at Wrestlemania.
I still think that Styles/Cena at the royal rumble for the WWE title is better than the Punk/Cena match at MITB when looking at the quality of the match itself, the crowd reaction, and the moment it had. It didn’t have no interferences like the Punk/Cena match had.

TLC II was the best 12 minutes that has every been on Wrestlemania. It absolutely was a car crash but there was just spot after spot it was majestic. Hard for anything to top Mankind and Taker but this match was absolutely insane.
Cena-Styles at the Rumble is my favorite match ever. No bullshit, no shenanigans, just 25 minutes of pure skill, strength, and talent. Imagine if Ciampa never got hurt and had to vacate the title. A triple threat between three of the best on the planet, booked by HHH, a guy who knows exactly what to do with such star power. Johnny pins/taps out Ciampa to win the title, crowd goes insane, and it’s the perfect ending to the story of #DIY. What could have been.
Only complaint is that with the exception of a few matches, if you watched this video, you would think that wwe didn’t exist before the year 2000. Bret vs Owen in a steel cage? Bret vs Piper? Bret vs Mr Perfect?

I haven't seen the matches mentioned for the IC title in this video but check out Jericho v Angle v Lord Voldemort for the IC/European belts. All three of them could put on a banger with a paper bag but when you got any combination of those 3 in the ring it was just majestic.

For my money the best women's championship match of the earlier years, and the first time I thought that women could make it in the industry, was Trish Stratus versus Mickie James. That match is fire if a bit out of place today. I wouldn't put it as the best match of anything, but it's a very good honourable mention.
