In my country (Poland) this scope has been unavailable for several months. The following message is displayed: (Quality Upgrade, Coming Soon), On June 25. I wrote to the manufacturer, they replied that it would be available in a month. Do you know anything about this "upgrade". Is your telescope ready for an upgrade? Or maybe the company wants to release gen. 2 as in the case of ED-PRS GEN2 5-25X56? Maybe you have some news? Very interesting review, anyway. I'm interested in your channel, keep doing it!

@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan Thank you for your warm words about Poland! Just like you, I want to put this scope on the CZ 457 I am building, but in the .17HMR caliber with a custom KRG Bravo stock. I look forward to your comparison of the ED-ELR GEN2 5-40X56SFIR FFP to the ED-PRS GEN2 5-25X56SFIR FFP. This smaller scope is known in Poland thanks to a TH-camr making a channel about weapons. He gave a very favorable review of the 5-25X56 and if I don't get this larger scope soon, I will buy the 5-25X56. I'm quite a beginner shooter, I will be shooting at 100-300, maybe 500 yards, so a lower magnification will also be enough. Good luck, God bless you

Hi, great video. What caliber do you plan to test the scope with ? 6.5 / 7/ 308 / 338 ?
Right now I'm using it for close range high mag shooting. It's mounted on this 457 rimfire currently

@hugtango yes this scope should be more than capable of handling some significant recoil.

I am really curious about the glass quality? how does it compare with Arken scopes? I orderded one anyway but still curious
Arken doesn't have anything high mag to compare, but I'll say it's tough to make a 5-40 with a usable 40x. Usually glass gets darker, fov small, and distortion amplifies closer to 40x. I would say this optic matches the price point and features and towards the end of the video I discuss my opinion on that
I guess one of my main concerns is how clear it is, my sh4 is on my t1x atm but I am planning to use this one instead, btw, your code still works :D @@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan

@@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan i received my 5-40 today. The glass looks better than I expected, it is a monster of a scope and I got 2 sets of rings with it besides all the other goodies. I still have to test it but hopefully you review it more in depth soon 😎

The scope rings should be 20 moa or more. Anybody buying a scope like this is planning to shoot 1,000 yards.
It doesn't make sense for manufacturers to make 0 MOA Rings or mounts anymore. A 20 MOA Mount will still give you a 50-yard zero.
