    Discovery contacted me to review their optics also, and I have to say I'm impressed with the product for the price point. I'm not sure about their customer service regarding warranty issues and such, but I haven't needed it so far.

    I’ve got the 5-30 on my 10/22 and was thinking of this one for my savage 243. Looks like it would be a good fit. I’ll probably grab that one piece mount with the 20moa can’t built in. It’s super nice getting back some of that elevation. Awesome review! Thanks so much

    Looks like they may have came out with a Gen II in this as well (Through the Amazon link). Noticed the 2nd set of numbers on the elevation.

    Another great video mate. How would this scope go on a heavier recoiling rifle, such as 7mm PRC or 300 PRC? Keep up the great work!

      I suppose if I were to answer this for myself and my own rifles, I would say those calipers are very capable calibers and I would be looking for the best class that I can afford if they are shooting far. Far meaning beyond 1200 yards. But honestly, if this was going on more of a hunting rig it's probably overkill. I see this being most at home as a budget option for NRL22 or PRS comps. Or perhaps if someone just wanted to do some plinking and target practice. The thing is, I know a lot of people can't afford a $3,000 optic with how expensive some of that ammo is nowadays, and if they can sacrifice a little bit of image quality they can still get a very capable optic in this 4 to 20. For example, I have it on my 300 blackout which I only shoot to about 800 yards but I'm fully content with it and its feature sets for that particular setup.

      @@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan Thank you for giving me some food for thought. I will give this a consideration when I buy my next scope. Cheers from Down Under.

      For sure, and I'm not discouraging this optic. It has a lot going for it, especially at the price point! At worst, if you purchase it and use it as a place holder you can always move it onto another rifle like a 22 or something and it will be excellent.

    Thanks for your very informative video. I have a bolt action .308 24" barrel. Do you think that among the available ED models this one is optically preferable? (considering that you actually used it and compared it live).

    • @GTMGunTotinMinnesotan
      @GTMGunTotinMinnesotan  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I think the glass supports the 20x better, and the eyebox is a tad better too generally. Still a budget optic for sure, but I just don't think anything pricewise can compete with the full package of the 4-20x.

      @@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan Thanks so much friend...Optically, could you make an analogy to other specific riflescopes from other brands?

    Bro do me a favor, unscrew diopter by 1cm and try to wiggle, and watch carefully, there will be a little movement, u will notice, and let me know does your scope diopter wiggle or not

    • @GTMGunTotinMinnesotan
      @GTMGunTotinMinnesotan  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      No wiggle, I don't see it at all. And I don't have grouping issues with it either.

    The scopes have diopter problem, wiggleing a little bit, and when they wiggle, the reticle also moves around, and no one talks about this problem,

    • @GTMGunTotinMinnesotan
