Also for the figure drawing and pre-college program to those needing one check out Academy of Art University Pre-College Program, all classes are free and they offer figure drawing; the only limit is you have to be a High school freshman or 14 years old or older and you have to buy your own art supplies ^w^
i’m hoping to apply to sheridan college’s animation program here in canada despite being 24 already. i feel like im too old to keep up now with younger talented artists and im terrified. however your video was very informative and helpful, and i know now i just have to try really really hard and never stop practicing even when it feels impossible. thank you! ❤️
2D to 2D, trace-drawings etc is very useful to get familiar with the tools of whatever digital photoeditor you are using and shadings of something in your mind. 3D and understanding perspectives is even more crucial though.

how big of a deal do they make about posting art through social media? What if you've just never really cared about creating an art account? Will that become a negative?
I'd say that if you're interested in anim, it's necessary to keep up an online presence. You can get into schools without a strong online presence, but it is hard to get discovered by employers, recruiters, and other animators if you don't market yourself online. Also it helps to give you a reason to always draw and focus on your art!

Im a traditional artist, ink and pencil, fine liners and markers. But I try to do paint and other stuff too! Would my lack of digital experience hurt me 😔 PLS HELP ME VIDEO POSTER!
