After 5 yrs riding a 1200 Sportster I recently switched to a 2022 Sport Glide with J&H exhaust. I absolutly love that bike, very smoth and easy to handle, very comfy and quite powerful.
I've owned five Harleys over the years, first one in 1992, all but one were brand new, I've always serviced my own bike except for the last Electra Glide, once, I put it in for service to a major dealer because I was traveling when a service was due and they damaged a pannier box whilst it was in their care. They had to order a new pannier, and get the new item shipped to my home, no more dealer services for me.
I've found the bikes all super reliable, no issues under warranty I just dont trust the dealers, they are unreliable and don't seem to take enough care.
The wonderful thing about “fob” ignition is when you discover you’ve dropped said fob on the ground 150 miles back…
Or when the battery on fob takes a shit
Will the engine will keep running if you get out of range of the fob?

There’s a pin system that allows you drive it without a fob
Great video. Nice to have a lady’s perspective. I can assure you, the challenges/cons are also faced by many of us guys too! 😅 quick question: where did you get your boots? I wouldn’t mind a pair of those myself (not that I don’t have enough already… 🤷🏾♂️)
I’ve had mine since 2019 and it’s a great do-it-all bike even though it’s a cruiser and the looks especially without the headlight fairing is super!

Definitely one of my favorite Harley. Put Thrashin Supply risers and bars, mid controls and Memphis Road Warrior wearing, Saddlemen step up seat and a Vance & Hines 2 into 1 exhaust and you got a great bike!
Part-time Harley got a good rap for one of the scoots she seemed to be honest about it

Harleys are the ultimate tinkerers bikes. Dont know where you get that from that you dont tinker with them? Thats half the fun :p
I think Harley has lost their mind with the prices, proportionally they have raised them much more than other brands, and selling the bike unpainted, not even in black, is undoubtedly a masterstroke...
The "billiard grey" fad in cars and bikes is an ugly one. It'll pass. Looks like primer and nobody bothered to complete the paint job on it. .
@@skymningforelsket1302 I think that's actually what they are doing, saving pennies, but charging full price
@@Sr.D Over here, they are usually offered in 4 colors or so. The grey is the standard (exhorbitant) price. Then add $295, $395, and $495 depending on which of the 3 other colors you want.

Sorry guys, I tried all the new stuff, but I will stick with my 92 evo springer. Took it to the USA in 94 for a month. Never let me down. 100k on the clock and still going strong. All you need to enjoy the ride is a bike, not a play station on two wheels. Old school I guess at 72 years. Been riding Harleys since the AMF days when you had to tighten things up every time you stopped.

H-D does not sell that model in the USA.
I don’t think Americans got the sportglide when it came out it didn’t get the 114 engine as an option and it was the most European type of bike in the range. The company dropped it a couple of years ago in America and I don’t think it has much of a future elsewhere as the bike is getting no attention in terms of upgrades ,colour matched pannier shells is about it and the colour choices of black and primer grey isn’t that inspiring . Personally out of the softail range it is the one I would buy I just wish it came in a better range of colours.
There is a brake disc missing from the front wheel and the clocks and guages are mounted on the fuel tank which means every time you look at them your taking your eyes off the road and that's never safe on a bike is it

Is it true that in the U.K. that Harleys cost even more than the King's ransom that they cost in the USA ? But at least for your money you're getting a proper amount of chrome and polished metal. I'M LOOKING AT YOU , TRIUMPH! The, uh, Harley "community" over here is probably a bit different than it is in the UK. And no, that's usually not a good thing.
I live in Norway and was in the main dealership in the capital yesterday.
They had a Road Glide with a sticker price of 720000 Norwegian Crowns. Thats 68 THOUSAND US DOLLARS.
Dont think you get higer vehicle taxes anywhere in the world but paying almost 70 thousand dollars for a motorcycle is just madness
@@Nifilheimur I was curious and looked on Harley's site. The "Road Glide" is almost identical to this "Sport Glide". List $25,999. I was wrong about the colors. It's offered in 7 additional colors, for an additional price of $850. I think out the door cost would be about $29,600 with tax and delivery.
The tax in Norway is punitive -- clearly they want citizens to buy something other than a Harley. The United States tends to impose little if any import taxes; however, the consequence of this is that wrecks domestic manufacturing and puts people out of jobs and lowers the pay of those who still have jobs . Cheaper products, but no prosperity enough to buy things.
I like the bike but the wheels spoil the look. Great low seat for the shorter person but the foot contols look too far forward.
I'm 65, and going back the XLCR have a long history of liking Harleys that go on to be market flops. This Sport Glide is the latest one. It seems that any combination of sportiness and practicality is showroom death. Is this really a 2024 model? Here in Canada it's no longer available. It's pretty much been replaced by the Low Rider ST. I prefer this version with 2 into 1 exhaust, lower bag position, and smaller fairing.
Oh, and I like the red boots too. "..and the angels wanna wear my red shoes."
Why does the Pope wear red shoes?
Harley use the same engine and chassis throughout their softtail range. They just mix and match bits to produce a different variety. This bike has road glide/ Street glide panniers, a Heritage Classic gas tank and instruments, street Bob rear lights standard softtail frame and the now almost obsolete 107 cui version of the M8 motor. If a particular configuration doesn't sell no loss because all Harley bikes are out of same parts bins.

Front fender is to small. When riding on wet roads it's like having a shower on your feet :p
Way over priced. But then you get to hang out with the latte crowd.
i'm more of an instant coffee man meself..that probably explains why i ride crappy old bikes.

Stunning looking bike but there is a brake disc missing from the front wheel and the clocks and guages are mounted on the tank not a safe place at all when every time you look at them your taking your eyes off the road, can't understand why these 2 issues with this bike are not a euro 5 compliant issue fail
