“This Country Faces An Existential Threat From Unbridled Migration” Net Migration Could Hit 700,000

  • Rishi Sunak is “actively” looking at measures to cut legal immigration to the UK ahead of figures this week expected to show a further increase in the numbers arriving.
The Prime Minister is under pressure from within his party to reduce net migration and the 2019 Tory manifesto promised the “overall numbers will come down”.
But figures from the Office for National Statistics on Thursday are expected to show a record high for the year to June 2023.
Net migration takes into account the amount of people arriving in the UK, minus those who leave, and in 2022 the figure was a record 606,000.
The figure announced on Thursday could be as high as 700,000, the Daily Mail reported.
TalkTV’s Mike Graham is joined by former MEP Ben Habib, human rights lawyer David Haigh and Conservative MP Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown to discuss predicted net migration figures.

Putting them in 4 star hotels and providing free NHS etc is a magnet.I recently spent a few weeks in hospital, and in my ward 2 immigrants told me they had come here for operations that were unaffordable in their own country. They made no bones about it.
An immigrant family in my road had a child born with various disabilities and they were told by the authorities, in Italy, to move to the UK,where the child would receive better treatment than they could pay for in Italy.
I wonder about how maintaining our Christian beliefs can be afforded ?

    • @Nannyirene
      @Nannyirene 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

They may be in 4 star hotels, however they don't get 4 star service, it's more like the workhouse. Minimum starchy food, under nourished kids. Hand washing clothes in their room and washing pots in the bath next to the loo is hardly 4 star. However we pay 4 star prices to the Tory hotel owners who have made millions from these people. How can Reform be so stupid or do they think the masses are stupid. Mrs Sunak has made a killing, the Johnsons laughing all the way to the bank with our assets. The days of this money and asset grab are numbered, Reform are not the party of honesty, they are the hardliners with delusions of grandeur of an age where they are fewer and fewer. Even the Tory life long voters are embarrassed and angry as their children have lost everything they worked to give them. This govt and members that formed Reform should be locked up for grand larceny and the manslaughter of hundreds of thousands along with child neglect , asset stripping and still supplying Russian oligarchs with profits using foreign companies to cheat.

Christian beliefs are free. Faith is all you need. Jesus walked the Earth penniless and let the rich and Middle rich know in no uncertain terms that having more than you need is greedy and greed is a sin. How can anyone Christian justify having thousands of pounds stashed away for their luxury holidays when children are going cold and hungry, single men of broken marriages are on the streets and women are broken from the worry of what the future brings as so called Christians vote for poverty for the masses, take what little they have with very poor wages topped up by their taxes so the multinationals can get super richer. The poorest and most vulnerable are forced to eat food so processed its actually making them ill, while keeping the prices of good quality fresh good artificially high to ensure a good choice for the better off. When the so called Christian voters took us out of the EU to stop brown and black people coming here to live and work. They put huge barriers on our trade, took away rights and freedoms we fought hard for and all the benefits the EU paid for that helped the poorest. So many services have been lost because of lack of funding since we were conned. So Christian people maybe God Almighty is teaching lessons, that Earth was not created for the people that have benefitted the most then took all that they had, screwed it up and threw it away so their kids and grandkids may not have them, so the poorest get poorer and our youngsters have nothing to look forward to. Christian???

The vitriol being on exhibition was appalling to witness. I'm afraid that this Migration problem is becoming more evident in the UK and Europe as a whole. Most middle eastern countries hates the west but it seems like they like living in the safety and prosperity of the west but wants to force their beliefs and values on countries that allowed their to live freely without fear or persecution. It's completely bonkers, but this is also "the elephant in the room" that it is potentially illegal to even question. Even posting this comment potentially exposes me to a visit from the 'thought police', albeit, it is a question that every citizen and our elected Parliamentary representatives should be asking. While it's healthy to import opposing and alternative world views, it is dangerous to import large cohorts of anti-western peoples whose stated intent is to overthrow our society and its founding religious values.

We need politicians with balls , we will need a nation that will agree to some contentious measure to address this problem.
There was a warning from Israel intelligence that terrorist sleeper cells are all over the UK and Europe .
That they are armed . We have seen how easy 50 people can cross the channel land on our shores how easy is it to smuggle arms into the UK.
We have slept walked into a nightmare and our governments have let their own people down.
Amongst these are the innocent who truly need our help these unfortunately will suffer .

Two good guests on here. Even the human rights lawyer seems like a sensible chap thankfully. We desperately need a government that recognises what is being discussed and do something about it.

We should be putting systems in place to help adults who struggle to be re-educated and to get children and teenagers off the streets, out of gangs, heads out of their phones and social media and get them doing more hands on practical activities that teach them real life skills and crafts. We do not need to bring in migrant workers which results in more Brits sitting around doing nothing. What we need is to get the people who already live here into development and support groups, listen to what they feel, how they feel and why they feel the way they and apply change. We need too get them to the level of education and skill they need to be able to fill specific job roles. Sure we have school, college and university but it is more than just sitting in lectures and getting a degree. It is about helping young people recognize their potential, enhance their talents and utilize them in the real world when they reach adulthood. We need to teach our children how to find their own purpose in life instead of doing what people expect them to have to do. We're educating people but in the wrong way. This is why you see many troubled young people unfortunately going into a life of crime, prison and a disturbed adulthood when they could have been in the work force making genuine money and a name for themselves.

Too much tolerance is causing young people to become confused. Not enough boundaries in place. My opinion. This disables value systems and the ability to discern. Not saying it’s a perfect way but gives children stability within their culture and family system. Only my opinion.

Even that 700,000 figure hides a worse reality. Firstly, it is net migration, which means it doesn't include native British people fleeing the country. So for example, if 50,000 native British people left and 750,000 immigrants arrived the net figure would still be 700,000.
Also, this is the official figure, the legal migration! It doesn't include illegal migration across the channel! This is insane. A country without borders, a country that doesn't enforce its borders, isn't a country.

@@markanthony3479 right, I have plans to leave too. I cannot take it anymore. Migration at ridiculous numbers including huge numbers of people that hate the very country they're migrating to! Then there is congestion charging, and then there are schemes like ULEZ, 20 mph areas everywhere. Then they are forcing you to be injected with messenger RNA! Men are women, women are real men, children on puberty blockers. And on and on it goes. Grhhhhh too much, I am out of here. The Country is unrecognisable. So sad.
