Haven't listened to these guys in years and this popped up in my suggested. Remember vibing to them at the gym around 2008. Cool they have kept things going for some long and still sound awesome.
I'm so happy you uploaded this, I've been waiting to see if anyone got this whole set with good sound (been so bummed HateSix didn't have it or not yet at least). I was front row screaming for this whole thing even ran into my buddy up there totally unexpectedly, can't believe how good Misery were, closing with duets of Weight of the World and Five Years was fucking PERFECT (finally getting to see WristMeetsRazor live was sick af too, and Foreign Hands always murders). I didn't get to see all of Trench but they were solid and their merch is dope, the neon long sleeve with lyrics down the arm was great.
Saw farewell tour, immediately got misty-eyed. Haven't followed much since "Of Malice and the Magnum Heart," but damn, that album has been with me since it dropped and is easily one of the 10-most important albums in my life. Love them for that \m/
Yeah this is so strange...you'd think a show at Chain Reaction would be out of control. Denver was absolutely mental in comparison...at one point there were two completely separate pits going 😂, and Karl and Jesse spent nearly all of 5 Years literally on top of the crowd
I have to agree. Pretty disappointing given how hard hardcore shows at Chain Reaction went off in the late '90s to mid-2000s, when I was a teenager. Obviously it's been 20+ years, but Misery Signals is a band of my generation after all. I would have liked to see this show draw a bigger crowd from that era - people like me who are now around 40 yet still down to give it everything before getting home to bed at a reasonable hour haha. I caught the farewell tour about a month after this in Berlin, and it was amazing despite having a higher stage less suited to scream-alongs. Such a good time, but very bittersweet this whole farewell business.
@@Dridgeism They only did 6 dates in Europe, 3 of which were in Germany. I'm guessing a decent portion of the crowd traveled in from places Misery Signals didn't go. But yeah, it was a solid turnout and great show.

Very poor crowd in my opinion, for a band who deserve such a better send-off in every city they choose to play their farewell.

I was trying to stir it up 😂 everyone in OC is too broke to afford a hospital visit these days I think.
@@KevinCallon Oh that's awesome... sounds like they had a solid turnout in Berlin?? Didn't expect them to have that much of a fanbase in Germany!
