I bought a bike last month and rode my first trail today in southeastern Michigan at 27, and it's all thanks to you and your videos. I was humbled for sure, but I learned my limits and where I want to improve. Thank you for inspiring people and sharing your love of the sport with us.
I started mountain biking in metro-Detroit area 22 years ago. I now live in Brown County area Indiana but love cycling in MI still. Whenever we visit the in-laws we head to DTE and Poto, there are so many more but more driving time equals less riding time so we haven’t been back to some of our favorite trails in years. Enjoy the new journey, each progression is so much fun!!!
Brian, I've been watching your vids for years. You guys seem like a great couple, and it's nice seeing the two of you out and about, enjoying riding and each other's company.
I need another high end FS bike. I just build a 2021 Niner RDO hardtail that's down to 21.25 WITH pedals. Started out as a 3 star but sold cassette, crank, rotors and wheels, upgraded to XO crank and cassette, rotors with the AL center section 1226 gram YUSHIN XC wheels with DT 180 hubs and 54 tooth upgrade. I rode the Creeper trail last weekend for a break-in, i love a light hardtail in the right conditions. I didn't know you were 40 Brian, you're a role model for fitness, nice to see Sarah once in a while. I will be 67 in December and still work 40 hour's +++, still ride green and blue trails, black diamond is too much for me and even some blue are tough so that why i miss my 2019 Instinct BC. You're both in amazing condition and get my respect, that style of riding requires serious conditioning. I did 40 mins of stretching last night after work at the company gym. SUCKS getting old!!!!! Talking about Alpaca i have some Alpaca winter socks and hats from when i lived in NY, supposed to be warmer than wool, socks arent cheap but yes WARM now i am in NC so need to list on Ebay
Truly to process how fast you do it. It's cool and amazing to see some one in front do it,and your prospective threw go pro. I'm 56 disabled, me and wife do flat blacktop, light gravel trails. Great video
Definitely not freaked out, loving these duo vids. I'm in NY and I'm loving your Northeast rides, I've only taken 1 lesson before I had knee surgery, I'm hoping to start again this year, thanks for the motivation!
Brian! Next time you're in the midwest area around Kentucky and Ohio, you should check out the trails at Mt. Airy in Cincinnati! Nothing too crazy but has a fair share of difficulty. There are also plenty of great trails and places to ride around the Cincinnati/Kentucky area!
There's a saying something along the lines of "you make sense when you are with your people/family" I think you two just makes sense. Love the chemistry between you 2 🔥🔥🔥
Hi Brian! I glad to see you riding together with Sara! You are was amazing Pair! I so luky my Girlfiends is a mtb girl too! Have a beautiful life with she! 🙂
Mt. Peg is one of my favorite places to ride in that area, but if you get a chance, visit Green Mountain Trails. You can combine it with a trip to Killington Bike Park as it's right down the road. If you visit, be sure to hit Devil's Throat, an amazing steep rocky descent at GMT.
BTW, they just overhauled Sir Berms Alot and it is AMAZING! The berms are deep and there are tabletoips and jumps and you can keep momentum the whole way down.
Liking the new vids with you and your wife. Miss you randomly mumbling random facts about things in your lonesome though sometimes haha. Thanks for these videos just got back to riding at 35 and man its been a great month on the full squish :) Saw a moose in Vermont on a road trip he was right in the middle of the road :) Also almost hit the biggest black bear Ive ever seen in New Hampshire the same day!
@8:05..."I accidently made a cuss word"... LMAO... is she for real? in this day and age... You guys are so cute. It's so good to have content like this that everyone can watch, including kids etc. props buddy👍👍 Great little network too...
These are my home trails, glad to see you got out to see what I think is some of the best dirt and trails in VT! Next time you gotta check out Suicide 6 just up the road in Pomfret!
@@Zaba... Blue to black at Suicide 6 is one of the best flow trails in the state IMO, Charlie’s -> James Jungle -> Ridge at Mt. Peg is a classic, and Cloud Drop -> Lower Hardstyle is a can’t miss.
Peg is great! I just rode there a month ago on the same bike as Sarah, the Ibis Ripley. We hit some of the trails you hit, and I think some different ones as well. I put a vid up too 🤙
My nutritional advice is reduce your total processed sugar intake. Stop drinking soda. Untapped makes some great products with all natural organic ingredients. Their mapleade tea is awesome. Come ride Cochran's in Richmond VT. Maybe Skills with Phil could show you around. Perry Hill in Waterbury is another good option. Enjoy your time in New England.
Hi Brian, it really is an upgrade with the RØDE Wireless Go II microphones. Can you please explain how you do this technically? I see Sarah has a lavalier mic with a wind muffler. What do you wear? Also a lavalier or is the mic on the GoPro enough? Is the receiver attached to the mediamod and is that not too heavy? Would be very happy if you answer this. Keep up the good work! 👍
@@JJ_MTB_15 yes I'd say Cochran's is in my top 10 easy and I now live in Crested Butte Colorado and I hit Moab and Fruita regularly. Everywhere is different but if u like tech and are a good climber Cochran's is hard to beat on the east coast IMO
Good morning. Hi ! Am from Manila , Philippines. Love your bike adventures . If you do not mind my aaking. How can I avail your BKYZ bike jersey . Pls advise. Tnx

Started this year myself also. I love it. It's crazy how quick you'll improve just by sticking with it. Good luck and happy riding.
Michigan has some great trails

It’s tough sometimes but never stop trying

I've said it before, worth repeating. Sara is an awesome mtn biker!

Love the energy between the two of you!
You sweeties! 🌟

Hi Brian! I glad to see you riding together with Sara! You are was amazing Pair!

What nice flowy trails, plenty of dirt and not too much rock.

So good and playful! Great work!
Loved this. Wild temp swings....welcome to new england haha. Those trails looked amazing. Gotta make it up there some day with the camper.
Your progression on drops has had an incredible impact on the flow of your videos. Kudos.
Enjoyed the clip, especially the lovey-dovey part. 🤣 Something different. 😊
Nice video guys, it shows you have a great relationship, doing things together it important.
More lovely dovey!!!

Oh wow, super cool!!
Picked up my new Trek Slash 8 yesterday. Wishing I could shred like that!
I used to live right near there in Bethel. I was too young to shred a mountain bike back then though.
This trail system looks amazing!
Great wizard of oz reference @BKXC
Oh finally a trail that is local to me, I might just check that out.
Awesome video you guys are great! 💯💯💯💯
Your sponsor ads are on point, BK! Well done
Very entertaining vid, you 2....FUN
Mt Peg!!! Another great choice!!

Dropped a new one on my birthday. Thanks for the unexpected gift.
Nice video has usual! Cool to see you ride with your wife. Man I want that shirt she is wearing so bad love the look!

What an amazing ride great video thanks for sharing 💪🏾
Was behind your car years back trying to figure out what BKXC stood for. Found your channel later. Always fun.
Worthy Kitchen is killer. Was there about 5-8 years ago.
The end clip sitting in the car, look at Sarah staring at you Brian. She is a keeper
Love you guys!

Come to Charlotte NC. I'd love to show you the trails here in town.
For clarification stream / creek are the same thing unless it has a tire it, then it becomes a crick.
You should try circuits frontieres in East Hereford qc beautiful trails there
bravi bravissimi! lovely couple and as always nice and funny video! hope to ride with you guys here in Italy 👍🏼

It's okay to be lovey dovey Brian - it shows you have feelings... ;) Y'all look so cute!
Great spot to ride. Big climbs but awesome downs
Must go to North Conway and ride Hurricane trail and bunch there nice if shuttle up
Love a green, tree-canopied ride!

Very cool!!
You gotta come ride east haven in Vermont!
It’s so good
Prefect trip😅
Lovly bike ride🤘
Sarah's exuberance reminds me of Alex, the Single Track Sampler.
So close to 500k subs !!!
Cool place dude nice riding
Gotta get Yuka and Sarah riding together for the best sound effects in mountain biking
vermont sounds like a nice place to be now cause in Arizona its about 114 degrees out, soo no outdoor activity is really possible
Mr. and Mrs. BKXC adventure!
I applaud your Burgess Meredith impression.

Mt. Peg is great! Check out Suicide Six right down the road!
Great video 🤩🤘🔥
Hey Sarah, what kind of knee pads do you use? My wife wants some. Thanks!
Brian you have to hit Cochran's. I'm seriously serious!!!!!
Agree Cochrans needs to be on his Vermont ride list.
Better than perry hill/cady hill? So much to ride in that area
How are the tracks so PERFECT in these forests for cycling 😁🤔
Nothing wrong being loveydovey I do videos with my wife and people like em. Keep Sarah in the videos your wife is part of ya.

So when is the B&SKxc logos coming out?😉🙂
Can we all admit to ourselves that Celine Dion's "The Power of Love" cover is an absolute banger?

@bkxc Sounds like you both are communicating via some helmet device... can you share a link!?

Would love to ride with you in Michigan sometime!
You are a married couple! You're supposed to be lovey dovey!
💙Big fan🚴🌺
Man you have a great expresso machine and you are drinking that First thing in the morning?
Hit Hardstyle next time you’re back. Best trail right up next to Cloud Drop and Charlie’s
