It’s a great pack, one of the best designed and laid out hiking/mountain walking packs going. I could easily pack for 2 night wild camping in summer in mine. I did sell mine, I have very broad shoulders and hips and it was a little too skiny for my frame. If I had reviewed mine it would have got 9.5.

I have the 68 to test next and the hip belt is really nice on it. Going to start using it tomorrow. Slightly bigger than what I need it for minus the days I do a big food shop and have to walk home

Thanks very much for the review. Is your bag the S/M or M/L size?

They are good packs. I found it a bit floppy when nearly empty. I have the stratos 38 now. It cinches tight better when partially loaded. Also has a side entry system for the main compartment.
    Good to see you

Hey James! With the kestrel I found it’s easy to make it top heavy and then it dosent stay upright even leaning against something which was annoying at times. Yeah I can only get the ones I can find that are second hand. The bag I am testing now is the atmos AG65. Got it half price. The hip belt on that seems amazing 👍🏼
