That’s interesting about the pivot upgrade , I have a squeak and urban with rounded out pivot holes , had to buy replacements , with the different finishes did you order the same finish as I’ve been on the website and noticed you can get different ones .

Nice, currently waiting on my ukpk ti scales after seen your other video. Really excited for it, just going to be a bit. How long for the urban scales from ordering to receiving?
Looks like an "orange peel" sort of finish

There was a delay for this latest order and it took longer than my order last year. I can't remember exactly how long it took, but I would guess 6, 7 weeks? Yes, orange peel is a good description (haven't heard that phrase since I was into car detailing!) The texture doesn't fee as deep as it looks on camera. The UKPK retains the best slipjoint action. The Urban action is fine, but the UKPK is perfection.

@@randomreviewz2628 cool thanks, i chose stonewash, just wondering if i'll have that texturing. I love the look of your ukpk and hope mine looks half as good as yours

hi! nice video, could you tell me what is that piece of metal in the box between the scales for? is it a clip or something? cheers!

Thanks for the comment! That is a little pry-bar. I think they make it from the part left between the scales when they cut them out of the blank sheet.

I have the Spydy Pits Titanium. I honestly prefer Frn or g10.

@@randomreviewz2628 It is slippery. I have also given up on aluminum handles.

Does the spring sit flush with these scales? My VP ukpk ti scales has that issue

No, I think the spring sits ever so slightly high next to the scales. The urban back spring is nicely smooth on the edges so there are no hot spots. The HH UKPK had very sharp square edges on the back spring which I could feel. I dismantled it again and I used some wet'n'dry to gently soften the edge and now it doesn't bother me at all. I'm really happy with the final results. The UKPK still retains a slightly better action than the Urban though.
