The scales on the original version are made from fibreglass reinforced nylon or FRN. They Heinnie Haynes addition I have has G10 scales and an CPMS90V blade.
How good is finish in Heinnie version ? reason for this question is that some reviews about this version on heinnie web site are not so good . Also I want to buy one and just want make sure is worth 119 £ for real . I bought Heinnie UKPK and is perfection ,so hope Urban will be the same .
@@danieliw1473 I really do love the knife. The only real complaint I have is that it didn't come overly sharp out the box... But then again, it doesn't take a whole lot of work on a 1000 grit stone, and a leather strop to touch it up. My go to pocket knife for the past 4 years has been my standard UKPK in the standard CTSBD1 steel. It's held up to all the torture and literal abuse I've thrown at it over the years. Seeing as the Urban is just a smaller UKPK, I have no doubt that it's going to stand to just as well. The HH edition with the superior steel and scales only solidifies this.
@@danieliw1473 One thing to also note, is that all UKPK models are made at their US factory. where as the Urban models are made in Italy. It did come with a cool little sticker though.
Good video. Just a recommendation for future videos, why not do a quick watch check ( watch on your wrist), and torch that you currently use. Keep up the good work.
@@teddypickertube6747 of course, since it is a screwed construction, that was my plan. But checking some american knife forums I realised that some people already tried that and wound up with a spinning pivot. Since this is a construction without steel liners, the screw of the pivot will work its way into the FRN material :-/.

Thanks. Good idea... i love a good ‘wrist watch check’ 👍
Hey I experienced a visible amount of side to side (horizontal) Blade play on two Urban lightweight models that I ordered. Ist this normal?
Hi. Hmm, my urban has no blade play at all, did to try tightening the pivot screw?
Thanks
